I like it!
I have been looking at Miyabi and Shun knives, but I as much as I would like to buy those, $200 for a knife is out of my range. I decided to take a chance on this TUO 5" Utility knife and for a tenth of the cost of Miyabi and Shun, I am currently satisfied. It beats the pants off my old Chicago Cutlery set. Have had the knife for a month, and so far I have not needed to sharpen it yet. I was so impressed with this knife that I bought the 6" Nakiri, and I plan to buy the 8" Chef Knife soon. Update November 30: I have had the 6” Nakiri for about a month now and I really like this knife for chopping vegetables. The handle is large, but it feels great in my hand. The fit and finish of the knife is mostly good except for where the handle meets the bolster and the end cap. It is a minor detail. This knife does a wonderful job cutting through an entire head of celery, makes nice even cuts through onions, and makes quick work of potatoes. I also received my 8” Chef just before the holiday. Used it to carve the turkey. I am not used to using a chef knife so I way post back more about this knife once I get more acquainted. Like the Nakiri the fit and finish where the handle meets the bolster and end cap is a little lacking, but it is only a minor detail. Basically you can feel a little ledge of the bolster and end cap.

Solid Knives at a really fair price.
I bought one of the cleaver knives for my "kitchen camping kit" which is a large plastic container that we bring camping. By this purchase you can tell that we eat well when we camp and take our food seriously. When I received the knife (which I ordered because I thought that it was a good value) I noticed the quality. Wood handle, German Steel blade, very sharp out of the box... this was a really nice knife at a great price. I worked with my first knife for a little over a week before I placed an order for the following... 1 - Cleaver 1 - Santoku 1 - 5" Utility 2 - 4" Pairing 2 - 8" Chefs And I threw out all of the slop that was in my knife drawer in the kitchen. I bought a full set of 8 steak knives from another company and now I have an entirely new set of kitchen knives. One week and two Tri-Tips, three steaks, one roast chicken, pizzas, diced onions, tomatos, celery and other assorted veggies later and I couldn't be happier. They are sharp, balanced, they cut great, they clean easily (hand wash and dry) and they look fantastic. I look forward to using these for years to come.

LOVE this knife!
I was looking for a durable, sharp, and inexpensive kitchen knife to buy for my workplace kitchen. The knives there are all terrible and I was sick of mashing my food instead of cutting it. The thing is, I didn't want to spend a lot on something that might just fall into the same state of disrepair that the other knives fell victim to (even though I hid this new knife in a fairly unused part of the kitchen). Enter the TUO knife. Normally you can say that you want durable, sharp, and cheap but you only get to pick two. Well at about $20 this knife hits all three out of the park! I have used it daily for over a month to cut fruit or chop veggies for a salad and it is still going strong. As an added bonus, I love the flair of the wood handle. It's so much better than most other knives in this price range with black plastic handles. Overall this knife is excellent for daily driver light kitchen duty. The only very slight nitpick that I have is the (very, very slightly) raised branded lettering on the blade. When I am cleaning this knife, food particulate (especially animal fats from bacon, etc.) tend to get caught on the lettering, requiring a little extra scrubbing. But once you know to look for it, it's mostly a non-issue. At around $20 this is a total 5-star purchase.

Wasn’t sharp out the box.
It’s a decent knife. Two stars simply because it wasn’t sharp out of the box. Wouldn’t slice a grape tomato without some effort, it’s an inexpensive knife but should still be sharp enough to slice a tomato. I may send it back. Update, seller contacted me and sent me an another knife free of charge. I uploaded a video showing how it wouldn’t slice thru a grape tomato, the first one I used is the one that wasn’t sharp and compared its sharpness with the smaller knife which I’ve had for years and as you can see the tomato don’t lie. I will add a two stars for the seller making it right. I haven’t used the replacement yet, once I do I’ll update my review.

Great Knife
I have owned this knife for only a few days but already I love it. It has a great feel and balance. Overall it is very well made and the blade is razor sharp. It is the perfect size for cutting small veggies. This knife is a great value for the price. I hope the seller does not raise the prices because of all the good reviews. My wife liked it so much she had me order 6 more to use as steak knives. I also bought the Nakiri which I will review in another post. You cannot go wrong with this knife.

Excellent Knives / Excellent Look / Excellent Value
OK I am a foodie and really picky about my knives ... I bought my first Tuo 4" paring knife to replace another higher priced knife when the tip broke off .... I researched online and found this knife rated 4.8/5.0 ... outperforming the knife I broke which was rated 4.1/5.0 (and cost 2 1/2 times more) ... I love this knife ... very sharp and the look and feel is great ... I have since gone onto buy several others and have given them on many occasions as gifts ... most recently I sent the 4" and 5" paring duo to friends as a thank you gift ... in time for Thanksgiving so we could chop and drop with the same great knives ... gonna give the 7" filet knife a first run on the turkey ... go for it, buy one and you'll be buying the rest ...

Can’t beat a Tuo kitchen knife!!
I have almost every knife Tuo makes. Why? Because they’re GREAT! Great quality, very usable styles, and beautifully made. This 5” fits nicely between my Tuo 4” paring knife and the small chef knife that I use so much. Nothing beats the right tool for the job, and Tuo knives are DEFINITELY the right tool for my kitchen❤️

Looks great, feels great and very sharp.
Received this knife today, it has good weight, the fit and finish are excellent, so is the grind. The blade is very sharp right out of the box. It's also very attractively packaged. I can't say how well it will hold an edge as it's being given as a gift but overall I'm very pleased with the quality for the price.

Budget price
These are certainly handsome knives. Sharp out of the box and a good price. I cannot say yet how well they will hold an edge but so far they are good. If they need a regular sharpen they are still great value.
