First one lasted 5 years hope for the same on this one
I had to buy another microwave anyway because Amazon could not meet their stated delivery window and we almost starved to death with the shopping delays :-) but when it finally arrived I installed this in then old microwave and it works fine , this is for a built in microwave so now I have a spare My last to LG Magnetrons have failed due to cracked magnets , probably from cooking multiple plates of bacon

Got my Kenmore Elite microwave working again
My 15-year-old Kenmore Elite 1200W counter-top microwave had been working fine except that it would not heat food any more when running. This is a classic symptom of the magnetron going bad. I first tried a 3rd party replacement magnetron which looked the same and it only output about half the power of the original one. For a few dollars more, I got this one (the same brand and model as the original one) and my microwave is back to working just like it did when it was brand new. After 2 months of daily use by 4 people in the house, it has not dropped in power output at all. This is a great value compared to the cost of a replacement microwave and installation of the magnetron took about 30 minutes.

Quick and easy fix for my microwave! Seems to have a little more juice than the original.
