Just right and less expense than fancy books.

As a home school teacher, I need something to help me track assignments, grades, and other necessary information. Most important, there are seven daily slots for the different classes. As I don't normally have more than 5 (occasionally 6) classes, I like the extra slot or two when I wish to track something else (such as the book reports assigned for American Lit and World Lit). There is a combined slot for Sat/Sun, great for weekend assignments. All of the daily and weekly slots are large enough to fit anything I need to assign. In the front, I use the Daily Schedule to set up the weekly schedule. There are two of these, allowing me to make whatever changes are necessary for the second semester. A few pages later is a page titled "Supplementary Data, Special Tests." I use these to track the test scores. The next page, "Overview Planning," I use to jot overall notes about the different classes: Any trips I might schedule, or videos I find that may be helpful. The next page is a calendar, which I use to plot out the vacation days for the entire year. This doubles as an attendance tracker...any hours or dates missed can be written in red for easy visibility.

This is an excellent product at a great price for the organized public high school teacher.

It’s perfect for light planning and I agree with another comment that you should get it with one more period than needed for after school or other things that need to be done that day. The cover is not as sturdy as I would like, but it’s so inexpensive that I think it’s okay and am considering buying a cover slip to protect it as I carry it to and from school.
