Q: How low does this register? I need to temp something at 100 degrees

I actually kept it in the package it came in & I just checked, the package reads the temperature range is from 100 - 400 degrees F (38-204 C). Hope that helps!

My experience with this thermometer wound up with me returning the product because it is very hard to read once I got a digital readout thermometer everything has been fine since that point it’s not your oven it’s that the thermometer... It would be fit for a professional but a layperson, no😊

Yes the clip does slide.. the red handle and all will slide to wherever you need it. The red cap on top is also removable to let out moisture) condensation

Precise. Nice stowing grab but issue of clamp cover material

Very precise and lovely cover. All is good. Only problem is that the clamp cover is made of plastic that doesnt withstand the heat and thus both of my thermometers have melted from that end but still operating imperfect condition
