I have been bathing my dogs for years, an old Pom with DRY fur that’s a little messed up because he’s nearly 13, a nearly hairless chihuahua that has allergies, skin sensitivity, etc, and a young German Shepherd who hates the bath. Typically, I used some hypoallergenic shampoo and a D-Mat conditioner on my two with undercoats. I get the huge jugs that are concentrated and then mix up some smaller bottles with water to the right concentration. It’s a pain in the butt and I hate storing it, but it does a good job. Then I was curious if there were dog shampoo bars and found these. Based on the box, it seems like a 3 pack of these (or maybe 2 packs) would be equivalent to the gallon jug of shampoo, but it is so much more compact!!! Less space, less weight. But then how does it compare in use, right? So I tried it. Worked fantastic on my Pomeranian. Sudsed up well, and didn’t get stuck in one spot like I find with liquid shampoo sometimes, not cold on the dog like liquid shampoo. I still used the liquid conditioner and the combination of the two made my Pom’s fur SILKY like it hasn’t been in YEARS. The German Shepard seemed to like the bar better as well, maybe because it felt more like petting??? And I ALWAYS had issues with shampoo getting “stuck” in his fur and having to use more and more because it wouldn’t spread well. LOVED the bar. I could easily use it upside down on his belly and chest, instead of trying to squirt the bottle and just hitting the floor. I used the conditioner on him as well. He felt great but still had a little bit of the oily dog feel. I’m thinking he needed a second shampoo round since it had been so long since he had a bath and I know when people do a cleansing shampoo round, they either use a specific shampoo or shampoo twice. And then the chi—I wasn’t going to use this on him because I was afraid for his allergies, but I said what the heck and used it on him. Rubbing the bar did feel a little weird on him because he is nearly hairless, and it didn’t lather quite as easily due to that. He came out soft and clean, no skin issues!

We gave my three Chihuahuas a bath this afternoon using this new dog shampoo. There’s no heavy perfume smell their fur feels very soft and I do not feel any residue on their skin or fur. It was easy to use. We just rubbed it on the dogs, scrubbed it in and then rinsed it off. I think these are good quality soap bars, and based on our first time used on three separate Chihuahuas, I highly recommend this product.

Excellent soap. So much easier than liquid soap. Why didn’t I think of this sooner?! Not to mention no plastic waste ! It smells great, cleans and lathers very well. Highly recommend giving it a try

This shampoo bar has a very nice smell and lathers up wonderfully. It is much more convenient and takes up much less space than plastic bottles and is environmentally superior. I only gave 4 stars because it doesn't appear to help my girl from itching.

I've always dreaded bath time with my 2 short hair rat terriers dogs because every time I squirt LIQUID shampoo on the various areas of their body they try to get away with enough motivation one would think a lion is hunting them. And this happens EVERY time I need to add shampoo to a different area of their body. It's a constant battle that leaves us both stressed out. This bar shampoo has been a total game-changer. Because it's a solid bar, it's not cold like liquid soap, which immediately makes the dogs much more comfortable. Instead of squirting, I can simply rub the bar all over them. To the dogs, it feels less like a bath and more like a nice, soothing massage, and they more relaxed throughout the entire process. I can't claim they are 100% relaxed because, after all, I'n still spraying water on them, but the stress level has greatly decreased. Another huge bonus is that I anticipate this bar will last much longer than my old liquid shampoo. With liquid soap, so much of it just runs off the dog before I can even lather it up. With the bar, there is no waste. Every bit of soap goes right where it's supposed to. If you're looking for a way to make bath time easier on both you and your furry friend, I highly recommend giving a shampoo bar a try.

This is our first time using bar shampoo for our dog. It’s definitely different than bottled shampoo. Pros: - Cost effective - Good lather - Good scent during lather - Seems to help sensitive skin Cons: - Scent doesn’t linger on our dog after she gets out of the tub. She doesn’t smell like wet dog, but she also doesn’t smell like a flower. - Weird waxy feel on her fur after she is dry, usually lasts a day or two after bath. Maybe we aren’t rinsing her enough after lather, or maybe the soap has some sort of conditioning type ingredient that is supposed to do that? We will give this another try before deciding whether to switch back to her Aroma Paws, which is expensive as it’s only con. A little worried that the waxiness might bother her too, or be hard on her skin and fur. It’s kind of weird, but not ruling out user error just yet.

This is amazing! Bath time is so much easier now. I have a long haired goldendoodle and this make it a breeze to wash him. I wear an exfoliating glove to hold it so it doesn’t slip out of my hand. The smell isn’t a perfumey smell but that is what makes him itch. There is no itching at all and no wet dog smell, don’t know how they did this but I love it. And his hair is so soft and fluffy and fresh smelling.

Lathers up really nice and rinses out even better, smells good and seems like it will last a long time

I am trying to get rid of plastic as much as possible so I tried this soap for the first time on my 10yo cockerpoo. I was not sure how his coat would be as I have always used a detangling shampoo due to his curly coat. This bar was easy to lather, smelt great and easy to rinse off and left his coat soft, smelling great and easy to groom. I would highly recommend, and no more plastic bottles!

Ottimo! Fa molta schiuma ed è delicato, rende il pelo molto morbido e lucente senza bisogno di balsamo! Formato saponetta comodissimo, si raggiungono bene tutte le zone con una passata e si sciacqua facilmente! Buon profumo non invadente! Per la parte antiprurito stagionale da vedere, usato una sola volta al momento ma è un prodotto molto valido che ricomprerò! Si consuma poco con un bagnetto quindi anche molto durevole! Consigliato!!

J'ai laver 2 de mes chien avec ma chienne qui as déjà un poil doux mais avec le shampoing abhituel pour chien pas naturel Elle était douce 1 jour où 2 et après avoir jouer dehors son poils était plus sec et plus dur hors avec ce shampoing elle sent très très bon pendant plusieurs jours et ses poils reste doux sa fait déjà 1 mois que je l'ai laver avec et elle ne sens pas mauvais enssuite j'ai essayer sur mon chihuahua très agé qui a des gros soucis de peau qui est depoilé a plusieur endroit et qui a un poil horriblement sec et odorant et j'ai était vachement surprise aucun shampoing m'avais donner ce résultat il as le poil qui s'en bon pendant au moins une semaine il sens le shampoing et enssuite il ne sens plus mauvais mais il ne sens plus non plus le shampoing et son poil paraît plus fournit et c'est super doux et agréable de le caresser et il se gratte beaucoup beaucoup moins comparé au shampoing abhituel où il passe sa journée a se gratter le long du canapé ou il est tout sec meme avec des bain d'huile de coco et où il sens super mauvais même juste après la douche je recommande +++ et ma famille a constaté et il veulent acheter 😅par contre je n'ai pas pu tester contre les puces car il n'en non pas mais je ne doute pas de son efficacité
