I had purchased because I wanted to make a particular stainless steel tumbler with it. Placed it on the first one and it didnt work. I originally thought it was because of the double insulated wall, so I switched to single wall and still no luck. I was thinking at this point that I received a defective product. However, ended up pouring boiling water on the outside of the tumbler and it finally worked. So definitely not defective. Tried it on a ceramic coffee mug and it worked again with regular hot coffee. So my note is don't use it on stainless steel. The heat transfer thru the mug is to minimal to get this vinyl to work

I was very excited to try color changing vinyl, thank goodness I didn't order off their website where they wanted to charge me $30 for shipping! It did not change color, my son is so disappointed. We bought it for his end of year teacher gift, at least the cups I bought change color,

I bought this and a few other rolls back in August to use for Christmas presents. I've started using them now and the green to dark green and blue to purple rolls do not change color. I am please with the other colors I received as they do change color.
