My 1 year old cat has a herpes eye condition that she came with when rescued as a kitten. These L-Lysine treats help to keep her condition pretty much under control. She loves the taste and readily consumes them. I will continue getting these treats for her.

Love those treats for my cats!! They are big and chewy, so I do need to slip them in 2 or 3 pieces, but it's easy to do with your fingers. They smell a lot though. They also help my cats with cold and sneezing. My one Siamese sneezes constantly and with those chews, it's a lot better. I've been buying them on Amazon for years as they are cheaper then at the vet. I 100% recommend.

I have tried SO MANY chewable treats and this is the only one my cat will eat. She isn't usually a very picky cat, but the other brands she wouldn't touch. I was getting low on her Viralys maple flavored liquid one, so I figured I'd give these a try since she was tired of getting fed 2.5ml of a gel twice a day. When I first gave her one of these chews, she refused it, however, she was currently having a flare up and her nose was congested. So, I gave her the Viralys liquid one last time and the next morning her symptoms had subsided, so I gave these chews another try and she gobbled it up. My advice, if your cat is currently flaring and refuses these the first time, try them again once the flare up is done...chances are they will take it. This has the same amount of Lysine as the Viralys and it's only 1 chew twice a day.

What's not to like...same brand my vet originally sold me and the cats think it's a treat. These are bigger than standard cat treats (about 3x as large as crunch Pounce), but soft and easy for even my small cat (9 lbs.) to eat. When comparing to other L-Lysine treats, bear in mind these have 2x as much Lysine per chew compared to many other brands, which makes the cost quite good for these. Used to treat ongoing eye condition suspected to be feline herpes, do seem to work well given once in the evening, though thinking of an additional in the morning.
