as another reviewer noted, the product comes in one of those push tab boxes rather the bottle pictured. since i purchased this item to eliminate the muss and fuss of the push pacs, i was very disappointed. if you too prefer a bottle, you may want to check out the kirkland (costco)brand of the active ingredient guaifenesin, the mucus thinner in mucinex. other differences in mucinex and kirkland brands noted in customer reviews and answered questions for the kirkland product on amazon are very helpful in noting and explaining differences. i like musinex,but became convinced the kirkland brand would better meet my own needs and i would save money to boot.

The picture shows a plastic bottle which is how I like to store and carry the product. The item delivered was in a small carton with the tablets being individually mounted on cards which I would not have ordered had the picture shown that packaging.
