My use case was to tidy a cable+plug entry hole in the side of a white kitchen cupboard, so it was glued in place, the centre disk is easily removed and refitted and the segment slide for cable(s) is adjustable as necessary.

Might suit some people.
Some idiot (perhaps, Ikea) made hole in desktop with diameter of 75mm; some other idiot (myself) failed to measure properly and bought 80mm diameter. Total waste of money - straight into the bin.Item did feel sturdy, however.
