Product Description Youngstown Glove's FR Mechanics Hybrid glove is an incredibly dexterous and comfortable work glove that also happens to be flame resistant and cut resistant and puncture resistant. The FR flame resistant properties of this glove exceed the industry standards set forth in ASTM D6413 and F2302. This glove is designed to offer super protection, comfort and dexterity for workers who deal with multiple job hazards. This glove is part of Youngstown's groundbreaking performance leather series where we combine the ergonomic, 3D patterns of a performance gloves with top grain leathers to provide a new level of leather glove protection. The FR Mechanics Hybrid features FR NOMEX fabric that offers great stretch and comfort across the top of hand. FR NOMEX is inherently flame and cut resistant and offers great breathability to keep the worker more comfortable. The top of hand also features high quality goatskin leather on the main knuckle and fingertips to provide additional protection against scrapes and bumps. The palm and finger side panels of the glove are made up of a combination of high quality goatskin line with Kevlar. Review: Very Nice - Update: since my OP below from Sep 2020. I have worn a hole at the tip of each if the thumbs, they still fit and feel good just have holes in thumbs not quite 2 years but they made it 1-1/2 yrs till wearing through. I still think that's good. I am a Communications Technician for a large MSO. We are out in the elements everyday all day, Climbing and Gaffing poles, up and down ladders and the bucket truck. And these kevlar lined gloves are great. I have been using them every day for the past 2 weeks and I can't believe how little they have worn in. They are holding up great so far and I will for sure be getting another pair and looking into getting a winter set as well. Highly recommend for anyone in the Utility industry.

**Q: Up to how many voltage is this glove rated for?**
A: Hi Sal - This glove is NOT rated for Voltage or Shock. It does NOT provide any protection against electricity. Rubber gloves are required for those purposes. This glove is Arc Rated to 12 cal which is protection against an arc flash event.

**Q: What does a pack meen like a pair of gloves or more than one pair if if one pair how do you justify 40 to 50 dollars for it?**
A: One pair per pack.  The cost is a reflection of the quality, with proper care, these will last for many years.

**Q: Are the finger-tips also heat resistant? i'm looking for an alternative to setwear hot hands/dirty rigger pheonix.**
A: Yes - the palm side, including fingers, are made of goatskin leather and Kevlar. This combination offers decent heat resistance. On the EN 407 Contact Heat test it was rated at a level whereby it can withstand 482 F for 15 seconds without causing pain to the wearer.  Hopefully that time and temp range will work for your needs. **Q: Are these gloves warm? Good for winter work?**
A: They are somewhat warm but I normally use them when welding or forging. I also live in Arizona where its always hot but my hands never sweat in them so I would say they aren't insulated enough for winter work.
