These party plates added such a great touch to our birthday party. I believe this is the only way to go in using these durable plates in two sizes. They give such a touch of class and beat the paper plate thing completely. Great value and if you feel like washing them for the next time then do it!!

Safety warning first: not microwave safe. The gold trim will spark. Sturdy and beautiful. It felt wrong throwing them out after the use haha I'm sure had we kept them and washed by hand for one more use, they would've worked. We had our Christmas lunch and everyone was expecting just a grab and go lunch but I had an entire beautiful event planned. These plates really added some fancy to it. I got matching cutlery and napkins. Putting thought into details like this is very telling. I, for one, appreciate the time and effort a person takes to show we're appreciated.

These plates are excellent as far as sturdiness, attractiveness and value are concerned. One pack allows for a party's worth of dinner plates and dessert plates all for a reasonable price. Guests can walk around with a loaded plate and not have to worry about these things bending or spilling. The dinner plates are great size for dinner and the dessert plates are a great size for cakes/cookies. The only downside is that if you plan to use these in a microwave, the gold metallic piping on the border will spark and maybe arc while inside the microwave. We have used these for foods kept hot by Sternos so it was not a real issue, but if someone unaware or unappreciative of the metal on these plates throws one in the microwave, it could be bad. Overall, these plates look and function great, just be careful to not have them wind up in a microwave.

Fragile, breaks easily

I can't tell you enough how wonderful these plates are. I love using these for family gatherings and parties. They are sturdy, look great and are disposable. It cuts back on clean up and dishes to wash. No plates were broken upon arrival. You won't be disappointed!

It is a good quality product but not an envirnmentally friendly option... We used to save a bit of time... You can get plates made of tempered glass with the same or even lower price... if of course you would wash them after to reuse
