Are the rows of teeth removal like the Denman brush or not? One person says yes, another says no

yes they remove pretty easily but make sure you don't break them as you remove them to clean the brush

Will this scratch your scalp?

It does not scratch mine, however, it is a stiff brush. If you have a tender scalp, this you will feel. Boar bristles are a better match for someone with a head not as hard as mine. :)
