My original rubber sway bar bushings were worn out and left me with a clunk in the front end so I replaced my sway bar bushings with regular polyurethane bushings. This worked fine for a month or two before the supplied grease the polyurethane bushings comes with wears out. Then the squeaking begins. Every bump. Every dip. WD40 and other lubricants work to quiet the noise for a while but not for long so I went with greasable polyurethane bushings. Installation is easy since the bushings are split to fit over the sway bar without removing it. I packed the bushings with grease before installing them and pumped a few shots of grease into them after installation until it oozed out the sides. Now, when I grease my front end I also grease my sway bar bushings and no more clunks or squeaks. I use the same grease I use for the front end. I know they make special grease for polyurethane bushings but I have not found any problems using a quality standard grease.

Installed on 2015 focus with a 1' steeda rear sway bar. Worked really well and felt tight, and I liked being able to grease them whenever I wanted. However, last week the bracket on the right side snapped after only being installed for barely 2 months. That's a little ridiculous. Edit: Easy warranty replacement

I made the mistake of installing a new rear sway bar on my MK7 GTI with the standard plastic bushings. After several months, and into the winter, they started squeaking like crazy. I was so happy to learn about these replacement, greasable bushings! They took me about an hour under the car to swap out. Not the easiest or cleanest job, but easily doable with a socket set and the correct triple square head for the bolts. I also bought a grease gun and some all purpose grease. The design in the bushings has grooves to hopefully keep the grease in place and quiet for a long time. I anticipate I'll have to grease these somewhat regularly, but at least that's an option now. So far, I'm really pleased, especially for the cost!

I am a UK resident and use my vehicle throughout the UK France and Spain. Having upgarded the rear sway bar in 2007 and fitting the Hyperflex greaseable suspension bush was my answer. Maintaince is much easier with the greaseable bush. What I have however discovered is by upgrading the sway bar to an 1" bar it does have an affect on the end link arms and would recommend spending the extra an replacing the bars with polypropylene bushes and not using the Jeep links and also fit the washers as described in the sway bar fitting instructions. This did transform the comfort and handling of the Jeep. Because of towing I have fitted airbags purchased through Camping World and again this assist in vehicle control. If I have a question it would simply be - Why do vehicle manufacturers not fitted these types of bushes from new? Why must we be a throw away society? or are they just out to make money, new lower link arm bolts in the Uk have cost me £9.50 equivalent to $15.00 a bolt - one would think they are gold plated.

I bought these to replace the regular polyurethane bushings that Steeda supplies with their swaybar for the MK3 Ford Focus. The old ones must have been worn out because they were going dry and squeaking within 1000 miles of being greased with the Energy Suspension grease. It was a giant hassle to remove and re-grease the red bushings every 1000 miles. Not only are these new bushings graphite impregnated to help keep them quiet, they have zerk fittings and grease channels in the polyurethane to make re-greasing a breeze. These are the bushings that should've been supplied with the Steeda kit in the first place. Highly recommended! Made in USA. Small Update: I just greased them using the zerk fitting for the first time. With a cheapo grease gun and synthetic Green Grease from Autozone, greasing these was incredibly easy. My only regret is not buying these sooner.
