Because it is on sale. Don't listen to these people on here "sparks like a 4th of July sparkler" obviously doesn't even use tools. These RYOBI brand tools aren't the best and strongest, but they are perfect for what I need them for, they do not break, they certainly do not spark. They carry a good warranty, and they aren't going to break your wallet. I use this lil guy for everything from cleaning carpets (with brush attachment) to tightening screws, to removing lug-nuts (Yes, it will do that too!) I've owned this for 2 years now and it is still with me, and still not sparking. (That sparking comment guy is what he doesn't use. Hint: Tool.)

Hello, I would not use it for that, it was not intended to remove lug nuts. It is a very good impact driver for screws and smaller nuts for bolts.
