Outstanding!
I am highly impressed with this book. It's an "easy to read" book that makes sense to the reader and it's practical advice for anyone no matter what your lifestyle or background. If the Reader is willing to read this book and pay attention to the advice they can only benefit from the advice and it comes with worksheet style activities to help get to the root cause of the problem. This book would make an excellent reference tool for Coaches and anyone who works in the mental health profession but it's equally great for a person who is trying to work through personal anger issues on their own. This book is geared towards men but a woman could also benefit to follow the advice given and if you are in a relationship (romantic, friendship, family, etc..) where both people have anger issues and you can only get one book, this one would make an excellent choice. It brings up points that you probably never even thought of and it really gives you the benefit of a quality therapist in the comfort & convenience of your own home.I got it today and read it through in one sitting for the purpose of this review but I will most definitely be going back through it again and taking some notes so I can further get acquainted with his techniques because the Author is clearly a master at his profession.Great resource for anyone who has anger issues or cares about someone who does. This book can save a relationship with a willing participant. 5 stars!*If this review helped you make an informed choice about this book could you please hit the Like and let me know?*

Anger Management tips for all
I started reading this book with the hope of getting a little insight into a man’s perspective with anger issues. I thought maybe I could use some of the information I read to help with arguments my husband and I have. However, a lot of the information was extremely relatable to myself, a woman. This workbook is a good tool for men and women to help figure out what triggers their emotions and causes them to lash out. I found it very interesting and informative.

Recommendation by a Beverly Hills psychologist on Wilshire Blvd.
Definitely read before you show up in front of a judge. This gives you excellent material to regurgitate if you get a chance to speak in court about what you’ve learned and why you won’t do whatever you did again. Easy to read chapters, followed by easy to do exercises that don’t take up a lot of time. Basically it doesn’t discourage you from reading this book because they make it very easy for you to get through lessons quickly and you feel like you really learned something. Gives you useful easy to remember techniques to use in real life, and for you to go over with your psychiatrist or psychologist as you go through it. This is a must if you want to stay out of trouble and better your way of life.

Ever since I read this book zero outbursts have been had.
Highly recommend this book, even though its so short.Basically the author says, deal with physiological causes of anger first.Delay responses for approx 20 minutes while your body metabolizes adrenaline.Once you more advanced brain can function again, explain what you feel as opposed to attach the person or issue.Amazing stories to convey the message too especially the one about putting a nail into the fence every time one gets angry."You can remove the nails after but the holes in the fence remain." Anger permenantly damages relationships. It's also very RARE to have righteous anger which is anger over things like injustice which is not detrimental but constructive.

Overated and not particularly useful.
Describes why people get angry or what it does to the body without being that useful in terms of prevention. Maybe this is a good book for wife beaters, but I just fly off the handle at work sometimes when I've had too little sleep and would like to avoid it. Half the book are questions you fill in, as if filler by someone who is a general therapist and not an expert in anger management. Overrated.

Got this book for my husband...now if he would just read it!!
I did get this for my husband. I read through the book and did think it had a lot of great, helpful ideas. The trick is getting him to read the book and apply the ideas! He is a wonderful man just concerned with his stress levels due to anger and hope that this book is able to help decrease some of the pressure he feels from anger. He did start it. I will come back once he finishes it and let you know if it helped him!

life saver for men who live life under the yoke and pain of unmanaged anger
A wave of relief hit me after reading and participating in the first few chapters of this book. It explained perfectly my own inner turmoil and battles as i struggled with managing my anger in a life where things rarely go perfectly, and sometimes just go badly. It explains how to manage without betraying myself in the process. So good, thank you to the author.
