Hustle Hard? Invest real money in the most important tool you use....
Ok so original review is under this paragraph.... I was really impressed by this unit for about a month and a half then all of a sudden the tare feature doesn't work anymore, when you place your weighing container on and hit tare it would zero out as it should, but when you take the container off it would stay at zero so it's not keeping memory, and the more and more use they get the more inaccurate they would weigh, not by a lot but enough to make you skeptical about if they are telling you the truth and having you calibrate every time you drop, things are stressful enough nobody needs to question something that decides if you are throwing your money away, or short changing your customers which eventually will have them skeptical of you....-💲---------💲----------💲----------💲-If you need something for your side work and you are tired of guessing, and giving product away because your scale can't make it's mind up what something weighs from 1 drop to another, do yourself a favor and get these scales they are really good for whatever you may be weighing reads down to. 01g so you can always be right on or at least close as can be. The weighing platform is huge! Very nice for sloppy baggers like me, and the readout panel is well lit and big numbers make it easy to see what you're doing. I have been through 6 different sets that were supposed to be good and were far from good in any way, and I am finally happy with what I have I can bag up without fear of screwing myself and without worrying about being embarrassed by a short bag due to garbage scales, not a good look...

Homeschool Science Experiment Scale
A little background - I bought this weight scale so my daughter can use it for science experiments for homeschool laboratory experiments. The scale seems to be made well and durable enough for what we need it for. I know these are many times used for weighing kitchen ingredients, but I don’t think we’ll use it for that much. I’ve included pictures since pictures help tell the story best. This is model SF-830 made by Boldall. There are many scales available, none of the others I have experience with. This one tops out at 500g. I pressed on the scale until it topped out, so I know. The black cover is curved with a lip, so you can use the cover as a pan to hold sand or other material if need be. The weight scale did not come with batteries. It is fine, but for some reason I thought it was going to come with batteries. The scale takes 2 AAA batteries. The scale zeroed out nicely as soon as I turned it on. It measures grams, ounces, kg’s, and a couple more types of measure. I am only interested in the aforementioned. I cannot speak to the accuracy exactly because I don’t have any weights to rely on. As for consistency the 15 g bottle of otic drops on the scale at the beginning of testing measured 22.4g. After measuring a couple things I then went back and measured the otic drops again. It came up as 22.4g again. So, the scale is consistent. The 22.4g very well could be the otic suspension inside the bottle plus the bottle weight. As for the second item I weighed the green chili peppers. The container clearly says 4 ounces but the scale measured it at right over 6 ounces. This could be the weight of the Chili's plus the container. I also measured the chilies to be 176.61g. The package says 113 g. Again, I bought this scale for beginning science lab experiments for my daughter that is homeschooled. I think for that purpose the scale will be accurate enough for what we need.

Won't weigh anything over 16-18 oz...
I've had this scale for a few years now, and it's worked fairly okay except for one major issue:Anything higher than 16-18 oz causes it to be "overloaded".I wasn't expecting to be able to weigh packages or anything, but a food scale with a restriction of one pound is silly and makes weighing out meat a hassle. If you won't ever be weighing anything more than 16 oz this scale is okay, but beyond that I'd recommend you move on and find another scale.

Great scale; still kicking after several months
Was scared at first, buying a cheap scale. But turned out to be accurate (or at the very least; reads the same every time). Placement of item seems to affect it at times; but may just be the odd shape and center of gravity of the wax products. I usually weigh from 0.5-10 grams, in 0.5 increments.I am still very careful with the scale, trying my best not to drop it or have it anywhere that it is gonna fall or take a hit. As I have no idea how much force it will take before losing its ability to accurately read weight. That's my two cents; But it is your life.

Great and scale for espresso making
Great scale for grinding coffee beans and drawing espressos. Repeated measurements are perfectly consistent (to the 0.01 gram). It seems not waterproof at all, but that's not a huge deal.

Lid Doesn't Attach Properly
The scale itself is solid, works perfectly. The lid, however, does not attach correctly. It just falls off.

Accurate, great battery life, could be a bit more modular for cleaning.
Great product, and very accurate. I utilize this for smoothies and portion control, works as intended but not quite as durable as i hoped. I'm probably going to have to purchase another one because some stuff has spilled under the metal plate for this and there is no way to clean. Overall, still 4 out of 5 stars for accuracy and the battery on this thing is also great.
