I didn't find the birds being attracted to it at first so i added some more red markings and it seemed to attract more. All in all, the hummingbirds flocked to it all summer

I very much loved this hummingbird feeder. Very beautiful perfect for our garden. However, the first one I received had a slow leak. I contacted the seller and they sent me a replacement the next day. Can't say enough about the customer service. I will be returning the defective one. I did not receive the extra gasket and cleaning brush with my first order but it did come with my second so for all of you considering purchasing this product please be sure that you receive the spare leak proof gasket and the little cleaning brush. I tested the second one delivered to me and so far it has no leaks. I have it hanging in the kitchen with just water in it with a towel underneath and it is flawless. It only took two days for hummingbirds to find this beautiful feeder.

The instructions are incomplete and written in poor English. Comes with 2 rubber caskets. One is red and attached to the unit. The other is clear and less thick. I started with the red because there’s no place to put a second one. It leaked all the fluid. I installed the second gasket. Same result. They sent me a replacement. Initially I had the same results. Then I put some muscle into it, turn it as tight as possible, no leak.There is a design flaw if one has to tightly twist a delicate glass object to prevent leaking.Otherwise it’s a beautiful object for the garden. It’s been raining so I haven’t placed it outside. Hopefully the hummingbirds will like it. There are quite a few that visit.

When I took it out of the box I was suprised by the brilliant color.This is a wonderful item that should attract humming birds without the need to add coloring to the water and sugar.
