The connectors look like good quality. They look very tough too. This is much better than I expected.

I repurposed a commercial garbage can as a temporary rain barrel for our garden. My longer term goal is to have 10 to 12 repurposed all of barrels to use as rain barrels. We currently have one rain barrel near the house fed by our downspout. I placed a Y-valve connector on that barrel and ran garden hose out to our temporary converted-garbage-can water reservoir in the garden.After installing the spigot, I added a Y-valve connector and use one side of the valve for filling the container, and the other side of the valve for watering the garden.Since both ends of the Y-valve connector are male connections, I used this connector to convert one side to a female connection. It worked out perfectly. For ease of use and connectivity, I also added brass quick connectors to each side of the Y valve so can change the connections easily as needed.

I just installed it, so can’t comment aside from handling it for less than 5 minutes. But appreciate the initial impression. Appears solid. Swivels, which is nice. Came packaged well, had extra washers and a small tool of plumbing tape, and a lifetime warranty!

I like the design of these fittings especially that they are made with the hex nut configuration. Even though you normally don't have to use tools to tighten them, unless you are installing them permanently, the hex nut gives a better grab on the fitting than some of the ones made that just have a round body.A big plus is that they are brass and built like they are going to last.

When I was having well problems, I had to hook up to the neighbors faucet and I back fed it into our faucet with these. Works great.

Bought to connect a leader hose to a hose reel. Good well built solid brass product. Had another one that was cheaply made and came apart. Don't think I'll have any problem with these. Recommend this product.
