How often is rinse aid used?

We have a kitchenaid dishwasher and it says to use it every time, dishes dry spotless when used, even without heat dry. If we don't use the rinse aid, dishes are wet when cycle is finished.

I live in Jacksonville Florida and have hard water 💧 will this product work out

I would think so. I used it when we lived in the country with well water and it worked just as well as the soft water we have now. My glasses and dishes are spot free and everything is completely dry. Love this product. Hope this helps.

Has anyone ever had designs wiped off their glasses? is it the rinse aid or the cascade pods that did it? never used either in the past.

We haven't experienced that. Everything in our house goes in the dishwasher, from fine china to wooden utensils and even the dog's chewing toys. Thinking about it, the only trouble we've had is with unglazed cast iron (which shouldn't be washed at all) and Tupperware (which should be washed at lower temperatures). We've tried just about every product out there, and we've settled on using Cascade Platinum 16x pods and Finish Jet-Dry Turbo rinse aid - a super combination.
