I used this to insulate around my window air conditioners that overlook a NYC street. I wanted sound and temperature blocking and this works great. The adhesive is strong, so you can't relocate it after it's been pressed into place. Removing it leaves a this layer of foam which takes some elbow grease to remove. It was easy to cut and install then it stays in-place.
