The lamp arrived on time in good condition. I chose this version based on reviews and price and I am not disappointed. The lamp operates on batteries (not inc.) The jellyfish are very thin, flexible and lifelike. I did not use the fish because they are more cartoonish and not realistic. Follow the directions exactly and you will get good results. I'm pretty sure the negative reviews resulted from not following directions. I used distilled water and soaked the jellyfish in soapy water first. Take time to remove all air bubbles from jellyfish when adding them to tank using the stick provided. Start by pushing them in upside down to release air bubbles. Then use the stick to manipulate them around, pressing them flat together, tapping, etc. to get the last little bubbles loose. It takes a bit of time but the results are well worth it. Change water after a couple of weeks to remove any residues that have been released. There are videos and tips on the internet. The lamp has a number of lighting color options via buttons to press or the included remote control. A nice bonus is the lamp can also be powered by the included USB cord (adapter not inc.) Overall, an excellent product for the price point.

We bought this for our nephew's birthday at his request. We really did not have high hopes for its quality or that it would live up to its billing. But, we were quite surprised! The "jelly fish" look real and it's is quite relaxing (mesmerizing?) to watch. It's a fun gift and fits right into our nephew's scientific aspirations.

I bought this for my 2 and 3 year old boys, after taking them to the aquarium and they sat there and watched the jellyfish for awhile. I saw all the other great reviews and decided to give it a shot! So glad I did, they absolutely love it! So many different settings too. Very easy set up as well, would definitely recommend 😀

This is the second lamp i bought and both shut down after about 5 minutes. Works well for about 5 mins and then stops working. Very disappointing. I’ve sent both back for a refund. My 5 yo son was very disappointed.

This was a gift for an adult who has trouble with night time anxiety and trouble sleeping. It arrived on schedule and worked perfectly, no flaws. We did not use distilled water, just tap, and it was fine. We found it worked best with only the 2 jellies, as the four got entangled too often. The recipient also did not like the plastic fish, preferring the "more realistic" set up with just the jellies.The motor makes almost no noise at all, and the light is soothing, not too bright or obnoxious, just a calm aura. The recipient finds it very soothing, and it has improved his quality of sleep, as he has been able to replace television with this lamp.I would definitely buy again or recommend, especially for someone who needs calmative therapy.

It is a fairly large tube and unlike the other competitors, this one has 2 fish, 2 small jellyfish and 2 large so it is a pretty full 'aquarium '.Constantly moving, the current within is pretty random which really makes it hypnoticEach of the 3 colors emphasizes one of the fishes by highlighting them under different spectrums, so blue under the red light looks like a black and white fish and green makes everything sort of meld. I have it set to blue which gives pink hues to one of the jellyfishBottom line, considering how pricey some of these are with just 2 jellyfish, this gives you the best deal, a full aquarium for the lowest price

This is super cute but leaks from the bottom and we can’t figure out where the water is coming from. Since we disposed of the packaging after we set it up we can’t return it. Really disappointed because it looks really cute and my kids love it.
