The Korean version of cheetos
These rice snacks are like the Korean version of cheetos. They are rounded crunchy little sticks, covered in a bright red kimchi seasoning. The sweet taste comes through first, then a bit of heat, along with savory flavors (garlic, onion, etc). It's not really that spicy - if you like heat, you can handle these. The flavor is faintly like kimchi, but not nearly as flavorful as the real stuff. It just doesn't have the depth and tang like real kimchi, but I guess for a snack product it's not bad.The bags are large and generously sized. 1 bag makes at least 2 snack portions for me.Note that the entire bag is printed in Korean, but the ingredients are listed in English under the product description. I would like to see the nutrition info in English as well.

tangy, sweet, crunchy
I expected these to be more like sembei (Japanese rice crackers) and, texture-wise, they are like the "arare" version in that they are harder and more brittle rather than airier and with a softer bite/cleave. They aren't tooth-breaking though. I found them crunchy, but easy to bite into.In terms of flavor, I was taken aback by how sweet these are. They are definitely on the sweetest side of sweet/hot snacks that I've tried, but I still liked them. They flavor has a good bit of depth and complexity for a salted snack food. The heat is such that it doesn't build up and increasingly burn your mouth so you can eat them without having to cleanse your palate. I think that the flavor is unusual, but I still liked them a lot.

Spicy and tasty snack!
This is a review for: SEOUL SISTERS Original Kimchi Seasonings Rice Snack Crakers Chips 3.17 oz. 4 Pack - Non-Gmo Tangy SpicyThis is a 4 pack of 90g bags of snacks. The nutrition values are:Serving size: 1 bag (90g)Total Calories: 426 kcalSodium: 725.7mg / 36%Carbohydrates: 60g / 18%Sugars: 11g / 11%Fat: 18g / 34%Trans fat: 0gSaturated fat: 11g / 71%Cholesterol: 0mgProtein: 6g / 11%Ingredients:Flour, Palm Oil, Rice Flour, Corn Starch, Kimchi Seasoning, Salt, Maltodextrin, Leavening AgentsIt does contain flour. It reminds me of eating ramen noodles raw, which I loved to do ever since I was a kid. It has a bit more sweetness to it though, so it's a salty, sweet and spicy snack that is very addictive. With the amount of sodium and saturated fat, obviously this is not a healthy snack what so ever so definitely watch how much you eat.The spiciness does catch up to you after a bit (though my husband who loves spice doesn't think it's all that spicy) so if you can't tolerate spice, this may not be for you.Overall very tasty, crunchy and satisfying snack!

A bit too sweet
I love Seoul Sisters' Kimchi seasoning, so when I saw they made a new snack product, I was really excited to try it. But the moment I took a bite, I was disappointed with the flavor.I know Korean and most Asian snacks are on the sweeter side compared with American snacks, but I think they could've used more of the spicy Kimchi flavor and toned down the sweetness. You do get a good spice kick after eating a few, but the sweetness is too overpowering. And the chips (?) could be a bit softer, because the rice makes them a bit tough to chew. So if you have sensitive teeth, do be careful.I hope that the company considers making a version for western palettes, because the product does have potential. But as of now, the flavor really needs adjustments.

Tastes off
I was excited to try this kimchi snack because I love kimchi and crunchy foods, I thought the combination would be great. It smelled pretty good (think spicy Asian crunchy snack) when I opened the bag but as soon as I tasted it, I was disappointed. It tasted stale with an off-putting plasticky flavor. It’s crunchy but a hard type of crunchy. Not enjoyable. I do like that it offers a nice spicy kick. I won’t purchase again and not sure what I’m going to do with the rest of the bags. I only tried 2 sticks and couldn’t eat anymore.

Too sweet
I'm not sure why but I've ordered several savory Korean snacks only for me to be disappointed. Every single thing I think will be savory, like kimchi flavor or Garlic Bread flavor, always ends up being sweet as the leading flavor profile. This Kimchi flavor was no different. At first taste this is super sweet. The kimchi flavor than makes its way and the spicy is there but almost non-existent. The crunch is good and enjoyable and hits the spot for a crunchy snack but does not check my box for when I am craving savory and salty. Overall these chips aren't bad but they weren't really what I had expected. That being said my cousin who was over and tried some thought they were AMAZING and loved them. Therefore YMMV.Review For:SEOUL SISTERS Original Kimchi Seasonings Rice Snack Crakers Chips 3.17 oz. 4 Pack

Sweeter than Kimchi
These are an okay snack. But if you're looking for that funky, umami flavor you get from real kimchi, this isn't going to do it for you. I can't put my finger on what they taste like, but they're slightly sweet with a hint of mild spice. They have a satisfying lightly crispy texture which is a cross between rice cakes and crunchy Cheetos. While I enjoy them well enough, they're not addictive like most other salty snacks I've tried. I can easily grab a few, put the bag down and not be tempted to go for seconds. If you're looking for something different, these are worth a try, but I can't see them appealing to the standard Western palette nor the hardcore kimchi lover.
