I am really particular about what I put in/on my body. I think lip balm should only have ingredients that you can eat...for obvious reasons. This stuff is not greasy and doesn't leave that odd lacquered feel of some lip products. You know, the ones that are supposed to moisturize, but leave your lips feeling embalmed instead. Anyway, badger stick isn't synthetic like those...it's organic, non-greasy, and tastes really good. I ordered the highland mint flavor...truly minty not medicinal. There's a hint of something else, but it's across the room and I can't remember what it is. Anyhoo...the lemon ginger looks yummy, too. I'll have to try that when the price comes down a notch. Would love if this had SPF...some form of sunblock.

"I had used the Badger Highland Mint lip balm before and when it finished, I couldn't find it in my local shops and mourned its loss as I was never able to find another natural lip balm that was nearly as good. Other pruducts are either soft but not shiny, making the lips look pale and quite sickly; or one I bought recently (from a reputable healthy living shop, as before) made my lips so cold I had to throw it away practically new. I was delighted to find the Badger one from Amazon, bought it immediately, and the moment it arrived, I put it on and was reminded of what a superior product it is. It makes my lips soft and warm while also looking luscious, just the right amount of shine without being over-glossy; the smell is perfect, fresh and lovely and gentle, not at all overpowering; it is also good value as it lasts and lasts (the last one I used for a couple of years). If you like your lip balms natural and chemical-free, looking gorgeous and feeling great, and really protecting you from cold & chappy lips, I simply could not recommend this lip balm enough."

I’m a lip balm user from way back, and these are nicest I’ve found; not waxy, pleasantly, but lightly scented, and effective at preventing chapped lips. Great stocking stuffers.
