Is this thick enough to block sunlight

Hello. I have only set the screen up as a backdrop against a wall. I can say that the material is fairly tightly woven though. To test for light-blocking capability I held the screen in front of a window receiving indirect light, and I was able to register faint light passing through. If the material was doubled up it just might block sunlight but it is not like black-out curtains.

Can you spray paint on this fabric?

Yes you probably could. You can spray paint on anything really but it may not wash out.

What do you call the stand in the picture that’s holding the back drop?

A great way to cover the backdrop floor!

It was great for covering up the floor that our VBS kids were standing on. Also, if you have another backdrop that this would go behind, it's great. It did not work for us in any light on it's own. I got the 5x7 and used it in an outer space kinda way. The color is very black. It is wrinkle resistant.

Good quality at a great price. Perfect size for making small animations. Very lightweight so perfect to just tape or tac on the wall. Works exactly as needed. If you need a low cost green screen for video edits or animations this is perfect. If you needed this for a backdrop I’d recommend having something dark and sturdy for the background so light doesn’t shine through the green screen because it is on the thin side

Perfection!

These curtains are great! They covered so much more area width than the 5ft wide panels I had previously purchased for backstage. They hide the stage mess during receptions and glide easily. Had I known these existed, I would have purchased THIS model last year. They were easy to install and look great!

what you'd expect for the price

It's what you'd expect for 8 bucks, light seeps through, and the stand's not included, doesn't look near as good or big as the picture, but it's a backdrop. It'll work if there's no light behind it and you have something to go through the top sleeve to hold it
