I bought these to go canoeing. They are brilliant. They stay in place and protect all the areas they should. So comfortable and useful. What a joy!

I’m not a good runner. I’m not quick. I’ve turned 51.I do like to run though. I’m a slogger and have managed two half marathons, both in the 2hr30 range. I tend to run regularly for the first 3-6 months of the year before losing my way and returning to it the following year. A couple of years ago I managed to hurt my knee. Ligament, lower kneecap, inside leg. It put me out for a good sixteen weeks and I haven’t returned to it until this year (18 months later!).That’s me. I tweaked the knee again four weeks ago. I’ve researched for better trainers and purchased a pair of these support braces. I’ve been out for two light runs (both under 3k, 15 minute jaunts). I haven’t felt so confident and comfortable while running in a long while. I have no pain from the knee. Not the real pain, the stabbing twitch or anything above a dull ache.I don’t often write reviews (too lazy) but I have nothing but praise for the combination of my new Hoka One One Bondi 7’s and these supports.

Well made and comfortable. Seemed great when I first put it on, and great to not have to deal with velcro, however it soon started to slide down. I ordered based on the measurements given, but as my thighs are bigger than my knees and calves (seemingly disproportionately??), it's not a great fit for me when I'm walking or running.

Over the last year I have purchased a good number of these knee supports and have been very impressed with them. They have recently been out of stock and unavailable for a number of weeks but thankfully they are available again so I've purchased 4 to ensure I have them in stock as I need them. My instant impression on opening the new stock was that they are lighter than the originals and the material feels thin and certainly not as robust as before. I've used them twice now and already they are feeling looser and I can tell they are not giving the same support plus the velcro is coming loose very quickly during activity. If this is the new standard of their support then sadly I will be looking elsewhere, This is very disappointing because the first batch were the best I've had.....

I am delighted with this product. I am a 77 year old male with a dodgy right knee, which has worsened during lock down, and can't get to a Doctor because of this. I bought another type of support last year, which become uncomfortable after a couple of hours..I have now purchased 2 Active runner supports as my other knee is getting bad too. I can happily keep them on until bed time, I barely notice I have them on, They enable me to walk, climb stairs and garden, with no problems.The Silicone knee pad is a stroke of genius, No need to stop what you are doing and fetch your external pads, the silicone pad in the Active runner supports give you good protection. and in fact could be sold as gardening /DIY knee pads as they are. They are worth their weight in gold.

I have arthritis of the knee and every now and then it plays up I bought this for stability and it seems to do the job

Perfect fit in terms of the sizing guide. Not many supports are but this is exactly how they said it would be. Looks and feels comfortable and does the job well. I had an MCL tear which took months to recover from and this has helped with keeping me from doing it again whilst playing football and running. 5/5 would recommend for anyone suffering with an old knee injury or recovering from one.

The support does what it says on the tin but is comfortable doesn’t slip like most and allows me to work and be active with less concern than previously!As a builder I do a lot of movement and bending and the support stands up to it all!!Would defo recommend!!
