## Overview

The Ibanez Talman TCY10E is a sleek black acoustic-electric guitar featuring a spruce top for clear, vibrant tones, sapele back and sides for warmth, and an Okoume neck designed for comfort. Equipped with a Purpleheart fretboard and bridge, it offers enhanced tonal richness. Its AEQ-2T preamp includes bass and treble controls plus a built-in tuner, while the Ibanez Advantage bridge pins simplify string changes and maintain tuning stability, making it a versatile choice for electric players seeking authentic acoustic sound.

## Description

Introducing the Ibanez Talman, electric players that are looking to add an acoustic-guitar dimension to their arsenal go head over heels for this distinctive hybrid. With it’s Ibanez Undersaddle Pickup, it accurately reproduces the acoustic nature of the bass. The Okoume neck provides greater playing comfort and it’s sapele back and sides offer a full-bodied and warm mid-range with a bright tone. AEQ-2T preamp is specifically-designed to adjust the frequencies of a bass and Treble, and allows operation of the built-in tuner without the instrument being plugged in. Spruce remains the most popular wood for acoustic guitar tops, mainly due to its pristine tonal clarity. The Purpleheart fretboard emphasizes the beauty and the rich tonal character of this guitar. The Purpleheart bridge transfers string vibration directly to the body, delivering a natural and warm tone. With the Ibanez Advantage bridge pins, they really are an advantage over old-fashioned pins. Advantage pins are easier to take out and easier to put in than standard pins. A special bulb-shaped end makes the pin easy to grip and also prevents the pin from being pushed in too far. Best of all, with Advantage the pin and string stay put.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Does it have a truss rod to adjust?**
A: Yes, it is inside the sound hole and the guitar comes with an allen wrench to make adjustments. I have never used it since I'm confident that I have absolutely no experience or knowledge of guitar adjustments and don't want to screw it up!
