It's not a one size fits all. Breathable, but I have larger head and doesn't stay on properly.

Great fit and it covers the neck perfectly

Got a few different balaclavas...I dunno, I always go on streaks when I decide I need something that I don't... anyways, this one is the smoothest feeling one I have, it's a comfortable fabric that is probably best for medium cold temperatures, not the coldest, but it does hold warmth some, kinda ployesterish like an under armour shirt. It fits my head very nice, down to eyebrows for forehead and it hugs my face, but comfortably so, I don't like them loose. If I get another one I'll probably come back to these guys.

The material is very soft, but the head size is too big for me and I will have to make some sewing adjustments to have it stay on my head securely in the wind.

I liked how breathable, lightweight and cool it is. I disliked the fitting and shortness of the material. Its length is difficult to tuck into even a mock neck as it is short in the front and even shorter in the back. I wish it was tighter in the throat and tucked better under the chin instead of hanging and drooping from chin to collar bone. Tucked into shirts it looks a little weird and baggy in the neck area
