Love this butter dish!
This is just what I was looking for!I have another butter dish that holds two sticks of butter, but the top is sloped so when you put it on it makes quite a mess and I have always hated the way the butter looked.This is the PERFECT solution!It holds two sticks of butter easily with room to to cover it without making a mess!I was a little concerned whether the top would seal or not after reading a few reviews that mentioned that it pops up when trying to close it.I'm happy to say that I do not have this problem at all. The top closes nicely yet I can still remove it with one hand!I also like the black color and lettering. The little butter knife looks nice sitting on the top. Not sure how much I will use it or not, since I have a really nice butter knife already. (edit), after using this for awhile now I'm finding myself using the little butter knife a lot more than I thought I would!Oh and the top itself is nice and smooth and looks great with my salt and pepper crocks!

AS ADVERTISED
4/252023 - Just received my black butter dish. It looks very nice. When I watched the review videos before purchasing, I felt the dish could hold more than one stick of butter. As you can see, I was correct. I have sticks side by side. If you buy a solid pound of butter (not sticks), it will fit nicely in this dish. I can't wait to use it to spread butter on toast or pancakes, bagels, etc. I really like it and will probably purchase on for my granddaughter who will be moving into her own apartment.

Large butter dish
I was satisfied with dish looks good. I really needed it to be a little larger to put my amish roll butter in but at time I did not know how big the roll was. It looks nice on my counter and like the butter knife that is on top.

I love this Butter container, it has a nice seal, love the little knife and the indentation in the wood where the knife goes.. i’m not scrambling to find a knife or spoon to spread butter on things!! 🌹😊

Mehr Design als Sinn
Warum soll ich die Butter erst teilen bevor diese rein passt? Irgendwie sinnlos.Dafür werden, dass die Kerrygold rein passt und dann sowas.Musste alle meine Pfandflaschen aus 5 Jahren abgeben um mir solch eine Butterbox zu kaufen. Leider hat es dann nicht mehr für die Originale Kerrygold Butter gereicht.Habe aber im Laden nachgemessen, da ich immer einen Zollstock in der Hosentasche dabei habe.Hätte ich die Flaschen mal behalten und eine Burg daraus gebaut.Leider geht dieses Designerstück wieder zurück. Hoffe ich kann mir meine Pfandflaschen dafür dann wieder zurück holen.
