Cheap and easy fix
These are incredible. I thought fixing my plantation blinds would be difficult, but this did the trick for only a few dollars. Awesome.

Good quality yet the sizing is a bit off for older indoor shutters...
You may need to drill the shutter frame (1/4 ") hole deep enough for the "shoulder" to sit right on the wood. The pin has good spring and works smoothly. Although the original shutter pin may have been rigid...these new pins having a spring allows you to install w/o disassembling the entire blind. This is a good thing.

So easy even a caveman could do it!
Saved huge $$ in doing this myself as the plantation shutter service call was $150. Used these springs and very easy to install - however I did have to use these on only one end, and pins on the other side so measuer your shutters carefully to ensure these will work on both connecting sides. Very happy with this under $10 purchase and now my shutters are fully functional again!

Easy to use
If you have shutters ,these are great to have on hand. They are easy to install and are well made. Just be sure to measure for proper size as there are different sizes depending on your shutters.
