The package arrived fairly quickly and in tact. The directions and kit were easy to follow and detailed. The tracking/updates of results took quite a bit longer than stated. The website did state because of issues from the pandemic their lab was a bit behind which is understandable but it even took a lot longer than stated for the status to show that my kit was at the lab. The results are accurate though I do feel that they could do a better job of adding results explanations that a everyday person (ie their customer base) can easily read and understand. It shows a results window chart with a lot of abbreviations and percentages then states the probability of the subjects family relation to the other and the percentage chance of subject's family relation to other possible candidates. So pretty much states super high percentage of the two being related (in my case and father/son) so they are in fact father/son and a super low percentage that they could be related to other possible candidates (no chance basically). It could definitely be explained better below the provided results.

We sent samples 2.5 weeks ago and status is still pending. Don’t buy this product.

This test is NOT a scam. The test instructions were easy to understand and the results were returned pretty fast considering it was during the holidays. My son and his wife recently had a baby and shortly thereafter she started behaving in a manner unbecoming that of a wife and new mother. Rumors were getting back to us that she was telling her ex that the baby could be his, so we wanted some peace of mind if only for the issue of paternity. The testing kit was delivered to my house via Amazon Prime on 12/16; swabs of my son and grandson mailed off 12/17; and results posted online on 12/28. The results provided are more than just a % indicating paternity; they provide specific information on each genetic marker compared between the two persons being tested. We were not surprised by the results, my grandson looks just like my son, but having genetic proof was of some comfort.I read the negative reviews and was a little concerned that maybe I had not done enough research before purchasing this test. I do not regret the purchase and would do it again if necessary. I did not receive any incentive for making this statement. I only added it to my review in the hope it helps someone else with their decision.

I used this home test to determine if someone was my son’s father or not. I was hoping not. Much to my dismay and surprise, the test came back 99.9% positive he was the father. Now he’s in prison. What a shame. 10/10 product however :)

Pros: Item received as described. Process was easy. Website was easy. Samples were processed twice to ensure accuracy.Cons: I was completely freaked out by simple misspellings on the enclosed literature. SALIVA is a word you’d expect to be spelled correctly on a DNA test. That was unnerving, it made me feel like maybe we had chosen poorly. Process was a little slower than advised. We completed on March 7th, it was received on March 10th, got results on March 23rd. I don’t mind the time frame, it just wasn’t as advertised.I would still recommend this product.

Not sure why there are some bad reviews for this test. It worked great for us! We found out my brothers child was indeed his. — A few tips. FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS. Read them thoroughly and follow them. Keep the card that it instructs you too. Also I think it helped that I mailed the samples directly from the post office and paid extra for tracking to insurance the samples got there. I would recommend that. I mailed my samples on the first of the month (Tuesday), they got them on the 4th (Friday) and then I got my results on the 8th (Tuesday.) Just pretty much follow the directions and you should be fine. I would highly recommend this product for someone who doesn’t wanna spend $200+ on a DNA test, or can’t afford it.
