Probably the best of the 11th Gen Lineup
Unless you really want a K sku, I feel the 11600 65W CPU is a pretty good CPU in the paltry 11th Gen lineup. Rocket Lake seemed to be a disappointment overall, but the mid range CPUs weren't too bad. And this is for a totally different review, but 11th Gen isn't a line I'd really recommend to anyone. The only reason I have it is I built this PC on a budget and the LGA 1200 Mobos were cheap at the time. This CPU is paired up with 32GB of DDR4-3600 RAM and an RTX 3070. Overkill but I don't see any major bottlenecks. Handles games like RDR2 just fine. Being a locked CPU that can't be overclocked, this thing is super stable. Something I like about the CPU honestly. Its still a little more expensive than I'd like, but it hasn't let me down either. So I guess its worth it.

Decent CPU!!!
If you’re playing CPU Intensive games on a budget… an 11400 OR 11600 especially, is a great choice. snappy response based on how well you build your PC and limit bloatware. Can easily play star citizen of literally any game optimized tht requires less. Given you have a 1660 super or higher.I know amd users have their own hardware to compare and could even outperforms but…. A budget build is a budget built. You do receive a cooler. And it may be all you need. (This thing is pushing the 60 watt range so heat isn’t an issue.)If you aren’t going for the most expensive setup and just want to be able to have fun. This cpu will do wonders paired with 32 gig ram and a decent GPU.

Fast as heck!!! A beast of a chip for Gamers!
Built my new gaming rig with a 11600 from a recommendation from a PC gamer friend of mine, as I am not an over-clocker. This thing is sick, performance is shocking, a full 144 fps nearly all the time, with an Asus 2070RTX Super OC EVO Dual. I replaced the stock cooler with a Sythe Fuma 2, and it keeps it super cool...69 deg, Cel highest temp I've seen underload after hours of gaming. Highly suggest this chip for a more budget PC gaming build.

May not include the heat-sink/fan that is shown in the photograpsh
The photographs for this show that this is a boxed processor, complete with heat sink and fan. However, what I got was just the processors (i.e. "tray" units rather than "boxed" units). They are perfectly good and new processors. But they come without the heat sink and fan. These are usually used by those who are building rack mount or overclocked machines where alternative heat sinks/fans are used and the Intel stock fan is not needed.I ended up buying fans - for additional cost. (Because I'm working in a very tight space I had a choice between the Intel black - and you do need the black ones for these processors - or a more expensive heatsink/fan, such as from Noctua. So far I have received absolutely feedback neither from the supplier nor from Amazon about the fact that the photographs show a heatsink/fan yet what was delivered was missing those quite important parts.

Thoughts of the product
I got what I wanted, but it doesn’t go up to 4.8 GHz, only 4.3 but it’s ok, still works perfectly fine
