Bought these boots for my husband. He never had any of the "old" Made in England DMs, so there is no point of comparison on the fit and finish of these made in Vietnam boots.As expected based on the reviews, the boots were on the narrow side. My husband has narrow Asian feet, so it was not an issue for him. The fit was perfect. As expected as well, the boots were uncomfortable during the first time he wore them. The pain was not on the shoe area itself, but rather on the back of the calf where the boot cut met the calf. Thick long socks solved this. He wore it for half a day on the first day, then wore it for a full day next. It broke in quite easily, and is now a comfortable full day shoe.The quality is quite good; Initially, he thought it would not be able to withstand rugged environments, and is just an urban boot, but having worn it on an onshore oil rig site with all the mud and cement, the boots were able to take the punishment well. It helps a lot that these are quite fashionable, and once broken in, they are comfortable. The boots are now caked in drilling cement and mud, and a quick hose-down with some leather conditioner, and they are again ready for work.Overall, he is quite satisfied with these Doc Martens. It was a fulfillment of a childhood dream to own a pair and now, my husband is looking at getting a second pair in another color. two thumbs up.

These are my first pair of Doc Martens. I am very impressed with the comfort and quality of these boots. I will be buying more boots in the future...coming from a 20+ year Army Veteran, this is quite an endorsement!

I love my Doc Martens and I've had them for a year. They're really comfortable once they're worn in (although this may take a while). In my opinion they look with almost everything and add cool-factor. They do get scuffed up and although I personally don't mind, it's easy to fix (from what I hear) if you use shoe polish or something like that (not sure about the specifics because I haven't personally tried this). I'm a size 8 US and got a size 6 UK which is maybe a half size too big for me. I'm okay with the extra room, though and wouldn't order a size smaller. If you wear them in summer they can be a little hot. Definitely recommend if you're up for dropping that much money (they are well worth it).

I bought these in college and they were a pain to break in, but I’ve had them for a while and honestly one of my best splurges were these shoes!

I purchased my first pair of Doc Martins back in 1997 and I am just now needing to replace them. Docs are the best investment in shoes because they truly last. These particular boots are great for anyone who wants a pair of boots they can wear in warmer weather because they are not very thick or padded with cloth like a lot of winter boots have.They do take about a day or two to break them in, but once you do it is so worth it. Docs are the best shoes for people who suffer from foot problems, like myself. They are wide enough to fit comfortably, and the soles give support your arches need for a day on your feet.

My granddaughter has wanted these for a long time and is so very happy with them. They are absolutely perfect and arrived in a timely manner.

Las botas son originales y muy bonitas, traen consigo unos cordones amarillos de recambio, además de los negros.Lo encontré por 85€ con gastos de envío gratuitos, además de un vale de 12€ para el Outlet (por compras mayores de 25€, que finalmente he utilizado), el mejor precio que había en la web.Aviso, el precio varía dependiendo del color, de la talla, y del día, por lo que si quieres una es mejor que estés una temporada mirando diariamente tu color y talla hasta que se aproxime al precio mínimo de la horquilla del producto (en este caso 85-120€).Las botas me llegaron en 3 días, y la posibilidad de devolución o cambio era de 2 meses desde su pedido, así que ideal para regalar aun comprandolas con antelación (no hizo falta).PD- Recordad poner los precios de compra en las opiniones, pues los precios varian, y no es lo mismo una opinión sobre un artículo cuando cuesta un 30% más o un 30% menos.

Gerne, würde ich zu Beginn meiner Rezension erwähnen, dass dies mein erster Dr. Martens Schuh ist und ich daher keinen Vergleich zu den alten Modellen ziehen und keine Erfahrung mit dem Schuh vorweisen kann.Aufgrund der zeitlosen Modernität, habe ich mir den Dr. Martens Stiefel in schwarz bestellt. Die Lieferung verlief - wie immer bei Amazon - schnell und ohne Probleme, sodass ich die Stiefel bereits am nächsten Tag erhielt. Das Paket enthält sowohl ein Paar schwarze als auch ein Paar gelbe Schnürsenkel, wobei die Schwarzen in den Schuh bereits eingefädelt sind. Die Passform der Schuhe ist der Größe entsprechend und auch für etwas breitere Füße geeignet.Soweit, so gut. Nach Erhalt der Schuhe wollte ich diese natürlich sofort anziehen, was sich als großer Fehler erwies. Das Leder der Dr. Martens ist sehr hart und dementsprechend auch hart für die Füße. Bereits nach ca. 10 Minuten Fußweg waren meine Füße hinten völlig aufgerissen und haben doll geschmerzt. Wahrscheinlich ein Fehler, der durch meine Unerfahrenheit mit diesem Schuh passiert ist, aber vielleicht geht es ja noch anderen so. Zum einen muss man also diesen Schuh einlaufen, damit er sich dem Fuß anpasst. Zum anderen hilft es den Schuh mit zum Beispiel Nivea Creme einzucremen, um das Leder weicher zu machen. Der Schuh ist also nichts für sofort!Mein Fazit: Der Schuh ist super schick und zeichnet sich durch eine zeitlose Eleganz aus, jedoch sollte beim ersten Tragen Vorsicht geboten sein!
