This is a great generic filter. It filters out any funny taste and also provides great water flow. Some filters reduce the water pressure to the point of being annoying. This one is designed a bit differently and provides the best water flow of any filter we have used. I did get noticeable carbon discoloration at first, but one it runs for several minutes that disappears.
