I'm using it to mount a camera above a table for top down photography/video. The stand and arm are study, not prone to vibration and easy to adjust in all directions. I'm very happy with this product. It's one of those purchases where it more than exceeds what I expected after several false starts (desk mounts, flimsy tripods). I'm sure it will last a very long time.Functionality:Everything performs exactly as you would expect. When the clamps are tightened things stay in place. When they are loosened things are easy to move and adjust.Size:Can be made to be very tall. Not what I need, but I imagine if you had a large light with soft box this would easily position them at every height.Ease of setup:Unfold, extend, adjust angle. Done.
