A good buy
Impressed with the quality and general strength of the product. Easy to assemble and wheel as a stroller. No deal breakers or anything that would make me wish I'd spent even more. I spent double my original desired budget. No regrets. It is what I wanted. The only downside for me is no parking brake, which I knew about, and a tendency to tip while wheeling if the dog sits at the back. Since the headroom is all at the back, with a slope at the front, it makes sense that they'd sit there! My dog is only 8.5 kgs, so nowhere near the max of 30 kgs, about the size and shape of a small corgi. It's a strain on my 75 yr old back to balance her carriage using the handlebar! I threw in some treats to encourage her to sit further forward! I don't anticipate this being an issue when we graduate to the trailer option on the back of the bike! I'm getting her used to being out and about in it first. I could fit both my dogs in if needed - perhaps a sudden storm while we're out, or an injury - maybe when I'm using the bike, though I do have a basket on the rear carrier for my older (5kg) dog - a Chinese Crested. On the plus side, the body folds down easily - like an old fashioned pram hood, with two easy release clips, one each side - enough for me to turn it on its side and lift it through the dog gate indoors, and in and out of the garage without moving the car! It wheels easily through standard size doors - opening 29 inches/74 cms. The attached bag is big enough for extra leads, a drinking bowl, plenty of poo bags, and a lightweight waterproof or fold up umbrella. The cup holder on the handlebar easily holds a small bottle of water. All this adds weight at the back though, which could add to the 'tipping' issue. The inflatable tyres are a bit strange! Plasticky, and don't appear very robust. On our first walk, one deflated, though not completely flat. I haven't yet pumped it up, to know if it was too soft to start with. I'm wondering about replacing them with bicycle tyres to be more reliable, especially when we venture further afield.I'm looking for wheelchair chocks or an improvised immobiliser, since I wheel one dog and walk the other! I'd hate for her chariot to tip up and scare her when I have to let go. She's a newly acquired adult rescue, with old and inoperable self-healed pelvic and hip injuries and a withered leg. Never been out for walks, and has a fear of the lead. She 'freezes'. Careful exposure and confidence building in the outside world using the stroller/trailer as a 'safe place' ensures that my older dog and I get decent walks without leaving her home alone for too long. She has accepted a collar and will trail a long training line, so she can get out for a leg-stretch in suitable areas, then back in her 'bubble' when she's had enough. I'm lucky to live in Milton Keynes, where we have 200 miles of traffic free cycleways and 6,000 acres of "parks, lakes, and landscapes" - all wheelchair accessible. Longer term, her damaged pelvis may well mean she's limited to shorter distances. Early signs are very hopeful that this will work for us and is a worthwhile investment.

Excellent company to purchase from
This pethut is awesome! Great quality. Bought for my border collie after he had surgery to his leg. Unfortunately, he refused to get in it, so sadly had to return the product but 100% recommend this company and product 👌 you won't be disappointed!

Absolutely Fabulous, perfect for our 15 old Springer Spaniel to help her keep with us on long walks
We have a 15 Year old Springer Spaniel who is still full of life, though suffering from aches and pains from Arthritis. She still loves a walk, just not so far now, yet with the Pawhut Stroller she is able to take a break from walking and enjoy a trip in her stroller. She is able to lie and sit in various positions that allow her to take in the walk and environment around her including being able to look up and see us. The stroller was bought to allow us to take her away with us on a Holiday to Pembrokeshire where we love to explore the wonderful coastal paths. This stroller allowed us to take her onto those cliff paths and beaches, allowing us to get around the Bosherston lily Ponds to Broadhaven and from Stackpole to Barafundle. Anyone familiar with the area shall appreciate the nature of the footpaths and the ability therefor of this stroller. Thank you Pawhut for helping to contribute to our fantastic Holiday by allowing us to share it with our much loved Dog.

Love this.... but....no brake
Absolutely love this. We have an English Springer Spaniel who has started getting nervous on walks when he hears motorbikes. So this is ideal for him to feel protected. The only major flaw is the fact theres no proper brake. I'm sorry but a small velcro strap isnt a good enough brake.

Perfect for old legs
The media could not be loaded. Arrived quickly. Easy to assemble. Very comfortable and easy to steer with the rotating front wheel. Just like a good pram. Not too bulky and folds away very tidy. Feels very well made.My girl has arthritis . Loves her walks and being a stubborn bully she only wants to walk the direction she wants. No persuading her to stay close to home. Now I can let her walk wherever she likes and when she's had enough she stands at the back and hops in and loves being chauffeured home if need be. Piece of mind for both of us. Made walkies enjoyable again no more struggles. Great on pavements, off road and grass etc.The only issue I have is there is no break. If she tries to jump in or I lift her in without me stopping the cart wheels it rolls away and she cannot get in it. I have not tried it attached to my bike.I have added a padded cushion because she likes her comfort . The safety clip to attach your dog does not seem sturdy enough for an English Bull terrier but I've threaded a strong lead which works perfectly.Very happy with our purchase. Highly recommend.

Very sturdy
This is perfect if your dog sits still! Mine hated it so moved around quite a lot so I had to hold it tight as it would tip up at the back . She is 19kg and was in it under protest following surgery so don't let put you off because it is sturdy and pushes well when you don't have a very annoyed normally very active staffie trying to break out!Big enough for her to lie down comfortably when she was sulking.Only other point to consider is the back wheels are very big so is quite bulky when folded and takes up a fair amount of space in your car boot

Handle is waste of time unless just pushing on flat ground.
