Embroidery frames returned
The product was delivered promptly and mirrored the picture online. I wanted something I could use as a frame for an existing piece of cross stitch. The plastic ring (as in photo) was firmly attached to the wooden frame and would not come apart. There was no way to insert the fabric and I did not want to break the frame trying so I just returned it.

Not all large
I thought it was going to be all large hoops but it’s a variety of sizes. There was two big ones, a couple medium sized, and the rest were small.

So much better than I expected!
The media could not be loaded. I must’ve been expecting like cheap, breakable plastic that I’d have to be super careful with… but this is like a rubber almost. So much more hardy. They are so cute! And easy to install and the frame/hoop instantly makes the fabric taut. It looks adorable. I’m so happy with this purchase I would highly recommend and will be purchasing more in the future!

A bit difficult to get the hang of but well worth the effort
The conventionally shaped round hoop was somewhat easier to use than the oval, rectangle and square ones but once I got the hang of it, had no more problems with any of them. These hoops are quite a bit different from the rigid plastic and wood hoops you may be used to. The bottom hoop is made of solid plastic and works like any other embroidery hoop. The top hoop, however, is only semi-rigid and it not adjustable with a screw the way conventional embroidery hoops are. That’s where I initially had difficulty when trying to snap the top over the fabric and bottom hoop. Rather than directly snap over the fabric and bottom hoop, because of the corners on the square and rectangular hoops, I had to put the top hoop on bit by bit, pulling it into place. A bit of both patience and practice was needed, but I’m now proficient. I freely admit that, being somewhat of a klutz, there could be a better way to assemble the hoop and fabric but I don’t know what it is as the hoops didn’t come with instructions. The hassle was well worth it, though, because the hoops double as pretty frames once your needlework project is complete. Please note that there are no screws at the top of the hoops because the top hoops, being only semi-rigid,, are self-adjusting. There is instead a decorative hanger attached to the top of the hoop. Despite being cumbersome to use at first, I found them well worth the effort.

A Nice Way to Display Your Finished Needlework Project
These Embroidery Hoop Plastic frames give a vintage flair to completed needlework projects. They display beautifully while complimenting the craft they frame. As an added bonus, there are some embroidery needles included with this package. Each frame is made from a thick, rubber-like material. It is not entirely simple to get the frame in place with your project but once you do, it does give a vintage-like flair to your work and displays beautifully. Although the backings come in two different colors (two brown and two white), this does not impact the display much since the colored plastic interior is what holds the Aida cloth to the frame and is only behind your work.I would only recommend putting your finished piece in these frames as they are not comfortable to hold for an extended amount of time, nor was that their intended purpose. I would also recommend sizing your project to include the extra space required for the wider/thicker frame. The top screws for mounting the frames to the wall do arrive loose but can easily be tightened by hand. These Embroidery Frame Sets are a great way of displaying needlework crafts in a cost-effective manner that also brings back a vintage-like appearance. The faux-wood pattern on the frame look realistic and compliment a variety of Adia cloth colors. Once in place, the frames hold the needlework piece taut and allow the viewer to see the texture and detail in your work. I would definitely recommend them.

Check the measurements before you purchase
Oops, I mis-measured and these are smaller than I anticipated. No worries, though, I'm sure I can find other things to stitch and put into these frames. These are just too cute, however. They look real but when you touch them, you know quick that they're imitation. The ring itself is rubber, you just slip it off of the inside ring, put your finished piece on top of that ring, then work carefully around to slip the outer ring on. No need for additional mounting, once your piece is inside the frame, it's not going anywhere, anytime soon.Love these - going to find some small Halloween characters to put inside mine. I'm thinking I'm going to need more in the future, too!

Measurements wrong and no needles included
The measurements are all wrong for this product which is very disappointing. Large size claims to be 10.24 by 7.09 when measured it is 9.5 by 6.75. The small size claims to be 5.9 by 4.33 but measures 5.33 by 3.8. The frames themselves are sturdy and I'm sure will work well for other projects. But they will not fit the project I intended it to be for because the measurements are so incorrect very disappointing. Also there were no needles in the package.

Missing Needles
Helps to have strong hands for getting these hoops on. Although I like the square hoops especially for framing embroidery the package was delivered ripped open and without the needles listed.

Perfectos y fáciles de utilizar
Los dos más grandecitos han sido perfectos para mis proyectos de costura y arte, el pequeño está un poquito más duro para poder abrirlo y usarlo. Pero igualmente me encanta

Too tight
almost impossible to get the white ring out of the frame to fix in embroidered picture. Once the fabric was in place it was impossible to fix in place. I even tried a hammer. Waste of money
