As others mentioned the lights are somewhat too dim in a dark environment. The software for iOS isn't up to Apple standards- crashes freezes often.The resolution of the camera is to small to see fine details. Focus distance is should be made variable with an add on lens. Does have usefulness as a probe where nothing else will work. Nothing to compare to but I assume that other systems would be better and address focal length, resolution and software issues.

Really great for work. Good camera. Wireless is wonderful. All these cameras have the same problem: the cable is floppy and only good for dangling into the area you want to inspect. I solved this by taping it to a scrap piece of copper wire that you can bend to your liking. I have to look into wall cavities and poke it up through attics to check insulation levels. The $300 professional models come with a goosneck, but for quick and dirty, my solution gives me the same capability for a whole lot less! Yes, I love it!

It works very well. We wanted to look into the dogs outer ear. The wife looked thru the iPad and I positioned the camera. It illuminated the interior very well and we saw the outer ear close-up. We also looked between our sofa cushions, under the sofa, behind the bookcase, on top of a ceiling fan, just places that one can not see well. Now that I have this tool, I will come up with more uses.

This is a very handy item. It performs as advertised, and permits inspection of otherwise inaccessible areas. I have used it to examine subflooring through a narrow aperture and to search for lost items in drains and crevices. The variable-intensity LED lighting is a great feature because it allows reduction of glare from reflective surfaces while providing illumination in otherwise completely unlit areas. All in all, a useful device at a good price.

This is an inexpensive way to look at this but it does not allow you to transfer the pictures from your IPhone. It does not save them in your photos area!

Works very well, couple of things to note:- Has a fixed focus of about 2.5 inches- Works with Amazon Fire- Does not work with Android 2.3.4 (this is in the item description), but I thought I'd try- Very easy setupI recommended to friends

Didn’t work well.

I was amazed how this camera work on my Android, it works really good, i was having this problem with my kitchen sink, found the problem and learn that you are not supposed to throw your plastic water bottle cap in the sink, lol, well that was the problem. I truly recommend this unit.Fascinating.
