ZWILLINGTwin Pollux, Knife Block 7-pcs

We're not expert chefs but we love cooking, so we were looking for a solid set to replace a mix of old and inherited knifes at home. I looked around for a while on Amazon and elsewhere for the best option and I'm kind of proud for this find. Great balance between reputable brand and usability. Nothing is extra, you'll use all knife in the block regularly!

Bought for home use, the Zwilling knives are exceptionally sharp and perfectly weighted. I swapped the honing blade for one I already had from Zwilling, but that was just personal preference. They arrived in a single box, each one separated by protective zigzag paper. Each knife was nestled in a cardboard sleeve, with the tips protected by plastic protectors of better quality than those in my current chef roll, which I replaced with these.I put them to the test with a tomato, and the utility knife almost effortlessly sliced through using its own weight. Just a gentle nudge, and I had a perfect slice.

Ya había leído acerca de la calidad de la marca. Tuve la ocasión de probar un juego de tijeras y me encantaron, así que decidí sustituir mi juego de cuchillos de "supermercado" por este bloque.Llevo poco tiempo con ellos pero no tengo nada malo que decir (si acaso el precio!). Desde el embalaje, con un cuidado exquisito, hasta la calidad tanto de la tacoma como de los cuchillos. Los cortes son perfectos, sin esfuerzo (me da miedo cortarme!).El más mínimo "pero", sería con la ubicación del afilador. El hueco es ligeramente amplio y choca contra el cuchillo del pan. Si eso es todo lo malo que puedo decir ...

The block is beautiful and very well made and the knives were just as advertised - these were for a gift and wish I had them for myself.
