I bought one for myself and liked it so much I bought for my adult kids and my sister!There is also a metal piece on it to scrape ginger. Feels nice in your hands and well made.

My second one, just wanted a spare in case. Really the best, soft rubber handle, super sharp blade, light weight but sturdy and the potato eye tool is a bonus. My first lasted 10 years plus and is still sharp. Recommended.

I broke my decades old peeler and needed another. I was looking for exactly the same thing not knowing that there could be so many varieties. My old one did not spin. I have another metal one that does spin and I hate it so I did not have high hopes for this one. I use ginger all the time. I’ve been peeling it with a spoon which works better than anything I’ve tried -Until this peeler arrived. It has a separate ginger peeler attached. Next was the carrot test. It’s so smooth to handle and doesn’t take out huge chunks of carrot. The skins are so fine and the blade is extra sharp. Handle is very comfortable. What a difference good cooking equipment makes.

I think I've gone through at least 5 peelers trying to find one that is comfortable in my hand, doesn't rust and sharp enough to slice through even the thickest potato skins. I don't need to look any farther, I've found the perfect peeler with the Joseph Joseph 10108 Multi-Peel Straight Peeler. I LOVE IT (and you will too)!!
