I LOVE how this looks by the front door. The color was exactly as shown, easy to put together and great quality. Very pleased with this purchase.

We bought this bench a while ago and love it. The color, durability and size are wonderful. It did not take long to put this product together and it gets so much use and is made to last. I love the storage capacity on this as it is deep and wide. I suggest this for any home as it is a great accent piece.

I was very impressed with the design, quality of the wood and construction, and the instructions, which were easy to follow. I was disappointed to find where the wood had been damaged in manufacturing and had been puttied, eventually resulting in chipped paint and a splinter in a visible area. I was also disappointed in the hinge attachment pilot holes, which were misaligned, resulting in the storage seat binding on the arm rest when moved. I had to undo and redo the hinge attachment to fix. I would have rated this a five if not for these issues.

Would not recommend, the color is very off. The photos show a solid brown but in person it's really a walnut. The back piece of our bench is damaged and it looks pretty bad considering that is the main focal point. The bottom support completely came out because the screws they give you are too short, trying to add longer screws just splits the wood. To return you have to completely disassemble which makes it's so much harder. Would not recommend.

The media could not be loaded. Love the color. Store several blankets. Added a cushion and pillows to make it look more inviting

The color is not even close to the picture, it's orange tones. Easy to put together, good quality just color isnnot good

I am very pleased with this affordable bench! It took my husband about half an hour to assemble with me kibitzing in the background and holding things as needed. We did use wood glue on the dowels per someone else's recommendation and gave the bench 24 hours after initial set up before use. We found the provided "soft close" hinge for the lid to be too limiting as the lid would not open fully, so removed it after several days. At some point in the future we will probably purchase a better one and install it, since it is a good idea. The hinge provided was just too short to allow full opening. The only other modifications will be felt feet on the bottom to provide easy sliding for cleaning purposes, and I did make a cushion for sitting comfort.Everything came well labeled. The correct numbers of fasteners were in little bags and were labeled. An extra bag with an additional allen wrench and extra fasteners (1 of each) was included. The directions were pictorial, and after minor study my husband found them to be pretty clear. There were no issues with un-drilled pilot holes as reported by others. Were I to ever need another bench, I would not hesitate to purchase another one from this company.

I love this bench! It looks just like the pictures. It is attractive and the base is sturdy. I think if you leaned too hard against the back, you could damage it fairly easily because there is no center support. I don’t anticipate that being an issue for our planned use. It’s perfect in our entry hall to sit on to put shoes on and take them off. It was a little time consuming to assemble and some steps required two people. It uses a mixture of screws and bolts, so thankfully not everything needs to be done with an Allen wrench. Hardware was packaged and labeled by step. It arrived very well packaged, so nothing was damaged. Overall, we are very pleased.
