Jandy Genuine Parts Neverlube 2"- 2 1/2", Positive Seal 3 Port Valve, 4717

Very solid valve, was able to unscrew and adapt to my 2" pool plumbing flow plan with no issues or leaks. The slip fitting took the pipe weld easy. These were ready to go and are fairly easy to switch flow, like I was on a submarine redirecting water traffic. These are well made and I anticipate they will last a long time with no issues.

No surprises here — the quality is excellent, just as expected from Jandy. It was easy to install and works perfectly with the actuator. Fit 2" pipes.

I'm glad the valve was OEM and not a knock off. Installation went well and everything worked perfectly. Good vendor. These valves are not much more than the Chinese knock offs but you get the Jandy neverlub valve and that makes it worth the extra little cost.

I am using the 2" to 2 1/2" valves for a gray water system. Using All-Purpose Glue I glued some short lengths of abs 2" pipe to the valve. When I hook it up I use 2" flexible Fernco couplers and then later it can be easily serviced if needed. The default configuration of this valve is that the water from the inlet is sent to the left, right or both output pipes, that's 3 possible valve positions. For my situation, I need the gray water to go to the yard or the sewer but never both at the same time and never completely shut off the inlet pipe. By taking the valve apart you can change the position of the inlet and output pipes so that it works with your setup. Also there are some stops on the top plate. The default setting allows the handle to go to three positions. If you remove the handle and switch it so that it uses the other stop it only allows two positions which is what I needed. Overall it's a very good design, good flow, thick plastic, strong screws and uses O rings, plus you can lock the handle in place.

Great mechanism for my pool.

I bought a house with a built in pool and spa. The Jandy valves were already installed. While looking for a leak I over tightened one screw on a valve and cracked the plastic housing. As a result when the pump is not running air leaks in to the plumbing and fills the plumbing and pump with air. When that happens the pump is not primed and cannot filter the water. My bad! The valves work fine but are very expensive. It would be nice if they installed sleeves around the screw holes that would help prevent over tightening like I did. General Motors and Ford do that on some of their transmission gaskets and it works great.

Only buy Jandy valves. I purchased one like it and leaked at the screws from day one. I did not over tighten, as these don't need to be tightened, just snug. I have purchased 5 Jandy valves for my pool, and haven't had any problem with any of them. Good product, cost is a bit more but not having a problem is worth it. You don't want to remove after re-plumbing your pool.
