The photo shows half a mortadella, I received a pack of thinly sliced mortadella. I haven't thrown it away yet, perhaps I will try to eat it and update the review. But the item I received is not what is advertised by the only photo and is not what I was looking for. EDIT I have tried it twice, it was good, the third time it was moldy and I threw it away. It was victim of the bad packaging (the ice packs were not cold, as reported on many other reviews) and of being sliced (I like to slice my mortadella when I eat it and the thickness I want, not a week or two earlier and very thin). If only I could decrease the number of stars.

I have never been to Italy , but this meat stacked on fresh Italian bread with provolone cheese, slices of Roma tomato, and crisp ice berg lettuce! My fantasy of what Italy tastes like!!! Magnifico!!

This product is delicious. Nice flavor.

Very good. Wish I could find this product closer. I would prefer they sent it on dry ice since it's so many states away. The ice packs were melted upon arrival but product hadn't spoiled since I was home to put it directly in the fridge.

Love mortadella, this product is great and it arrived still very cold. Wonderful shipping and very fast service, thank you for being there someone who lives in a mortadella desert.
