ObozBozeman Mid Hiking Boot - Men's

This shoe made me smile. Comfy and stylish. Not the best traction for hiking but weather resistant and great around town

First, a caveat: this is not a technical hiking or backpacking boot. I recommend Oboz's Bridger and Sawtooth models for backpacking and their Arete series for lightweight but burly trail shoes. The Bozeman series is more of a burly sneaker for day-to-day mountain town life, travel, camping, walking, and so forth.For that purpose, as an active guy who lives in Colorado, I think they excel. Oboz is one of the few brands that consistently accommodates my big, weird, wide midfoot, and very few people seem to find they don't work for them. Heel lock is secure and they're very stable and comfortable, with good toebox room. Workmanship and detailing is good and I expect they will last as well as my other Oboz, unless you beat them up on trails they aren't designed for. They'll be definite go-tos for travel (once we start traveling again...).

I love these boots for everyday wear. They replace a pair of Timberlands that served me well for two years. Oboz shoes are always high quality, and these are no exception. They fit well and are extremely comfortable. The factory insoles are top notch.These might be OK for an impromptu easy trail, but the tread is not aggressive enough that I would consider them a true hiking boot. Oboz markets them as "urban", so I was not at all disappointed. I have other boots for actual hiking.

So I am a Disc Golfer and I was looking for a good high top hiking shoe. I had my eye on A different shoe by Oboz but the soul look too grippy for what I was intending to use them for. The Bozeman had less of a chunky grip on the soul, so I thought I would give them a try. It turns out they are perfect lightweight inner soul is comfortable. They’re kind of like an old-school high top basketball shoe. This company knows how to make a good hiking boot. Peace

This is really sort of a boot/sneaker hybrid in my opinion. It has the style, comfort, and light weight of a sneaker but the rugged tread you'd find on a lot of boots, so it's good for most situations that the average person would find themselves in. It isn't water resistant but there are some DIY methods for making it that way if you really want it. Break-in time was minimal for me - just a week of walking about 3-5 miles a day. Pull-up tabs on the back were annoying so I popped the threads and got rid of those. Very happy with these and would definitely recommend.

These are the best. Super light weight. Fit like a glove. Size 10 is a true 10. These are my urban hikers in the city. They have a sneaker look with all the support of a hiker. Buy them. Worth the money.

More like a high top tennis shoe. Which is what I was looking for. Not as good as support as there other boots, but good for a rugged sneaker.
