Koi's Choice Premium Pond formula is a highly digestible, floating pellet food that is suitable for all seasons. It provides necessary animal and vegetable proteins, and essential nutrients required for excellent growth, color, health and longevity. Kaytee Koi's Choice formula is nutritionally complete, helps turn your backyard pond or aquarium into a haven for all of your pond fish. Kaytee's Koi's Choice is for Koi, Goldfish and other pond fish. Feeding frequency varies with water temperature and the amount of growth desired. Never provide more food per feeding than will be fully consumed within 5 to 10 minutes. Remove uneaten food. In warm water (above 60°F), feed one to five times daily, increasing the number of feedings as temperature rises or to achieve desired results. In cool water (50 to 60°F), feed one or two times daily. In cold water (below 50°F), feed every other day. Do not feed below 40°F.

Review: fish love it. - i have 5 koi and 3 goldfish outdoors, all ranging in size from about 6 to 16 inches, not including their tails. they love this stuff, they've been on it for maybe a year and a half now. it never gets moldy, seems to last a while. small enough for the goldfish, and the koi can also eat it, although it takes them a bit longer to find and eat enough (it gives the goldfish a chance to compete though). the fishes' colors are bright, the goldfish especially are that gorgeous scarlet color. my tancho kohaku's white turned a buttery yellow on this, but whatever she's still cute yellow. just be aware that may happen with other white fish.

i have 5 koi and 3 goldfish outdoors, all ranging in size from about 6 to 16 inches, not including their tails. they love this stuff, they've been on it for maybe a year and a half now. it never gets moldy, seems to last a while. small enough for the goldfish, and the koi can also eat it, although it takes them a bit longer to find and eat enough (it gives the goldfish a chance to compete though). the fishes' colors are bright, the goldfish especially are that gorgeous scarlet color. my tancho kohaku's white turned a buttery yellow on this, but whatever she's still cute yellow. just be aware that may happen with other white fish.

This is good quality fish food. It's a brown color that is normal for what I'm used to getting my fish. The pellets are a good size for both my goldfish, and my koi fish. My goldfish are adults. It seems like the koi like it a lot, and the goldfish are a little bit skeptical of it but they started eating it after a couple of days. That is sort of normal for them whenever I try to change food. But now they're eating it and everything seems to be going great. I think the koi like the taste of it a lot. Our fish go crazy for these pellets. The day I started using these it was weird how much they flocked to them. Plus being a bit smaller than some of the others they are easier for the goldfish.
