Elevator Step

We were so delighted to find this product for a reasonable price. My husband, who is about 5'6" and disabled, had to rebuild the frame as it was still too high for him, but otherwise he is very happy with it and with his adaptations it works perfectly. Good quality, light weight:)

The step works great. The step height is adjustable from about 6 inches to about 19 inches. It folds into an assembly about 3 inches thick. It's nicely made and adequately rugged. It makes loading a car top carrier easier and better/safer than standing on a car seat. However, I expect to use it mostly to gain a little height for taking photos. It will make me nearly 7 feet tall! Good product.

This step is very nice but would have been better if it had been just a little bit bigger. It will not fully fit on large pick-up wheels. it works great on average to small applications.

Sherpaks tire step is a good quality item.However, it would not clear the tire/wheel well gap so it can go over the tire.My vehicle is a 2009 Subaru Forester with 17" wheels

Very reasonable price. This is a very well built, solid, and functional step. It was easy to adjust to fit, and then is very stable in use. I wish I would have had it a long time ago!

It fits the 225/17 wheels of our 2014 Forester. The wheel well is just barely wide enough to get the part that goes over the tire inside the wheel well. (The outside of the box it came in clearly says that minimum width of wheel well must be 22". That should also be stated as explicitly in the description on Amazon.) However, it comes with the tire width adjustment at the narrowest setting. To increase the tire width setting, I had to use two strong hand clamps to keep the adjustment buttons on each side depressed in while I slid the bar to the next greater setting width.

I use it weekly during ski season now but it's a bit flimsy. Also, wish it was easier to store as the anti-slip makes it sharp and kids can cut their finger accidentally when in the trunk.

It is so much easier & safer having a stable platform while tying/untying boats or working on kayak saddles. Now I don't have to stand on a step ladder & worrying about it scratching the side of my car!
