Ultra Clean Power
2nd Update 11-12-21 regarding Gas Storage: With respect to fuel storage, I have spoken with Honda at their corporate office. They reached out and we covered a few topics namely the gas storage. This is what I was informed. Best to use Ethanol free gas. As the Honda web site points out, fuel is good for up to 90 days. Here's how to pump out the gas (there is no gas release screw of valve..this is the only method) You can simply remove the gas cap, pull out with your two fingers (or needle nose pliers) the strainer. With a hand pump (sold on Amazon - try Gas Tapper), drain the gas. Put the drained gas into a gas container and empty into your vehicle before you fill your vehicle with fresh gas. Now add fresh gas to the fuel tank and repeat this process every 90 days or if you put in fuel additive, then change at the fuel additive interval level. Keep the Honda tank full to avoid corrosion though the fuel additive will help in this manner also. it seems then the best option (if you don't enjoy draining gas), is to buy a fuel additive. They are various types. I called Lucas. They have two types. Product number 10314 (blue and white container) will give you about 12-14 months on the gas thus reducing the need to pump every 90 days. This appears to be the best solution. Additionally, since this is an inverter EFI generator, Honda stated it is not necessary to start this generator 1x a month as with the more classic carb generators. It's simply not necessary.1st Update:We had our interlock installed with a 30amp outlet on the exterior of our house. The Honda EU7000Is fired right up, we turned off all 8 breakers in which the generator couldn't handle (such as the 4 x 50 AMP Furnace and the 2 x 40 amp Dryer breakers) and we had instant power in the house..garage door, lights frig, freezer, everything. We are most pleased. I just wish they'd offer a method to drain the fuel and fix the Bluetooth app from inaccuracies.Original review:After reviewing loads of Youtube tutorials, this EU7000is was rather convincing. Having owned Honda vehicles and a power washer in previous years, I'm well aware of their reliability. We were looking at the Predator series with more wattage from Harbor Freight. However the Predator comes with a mere 90 day warranty [that was concerning] vs. Honda 3 years, no Bluetooth, made in China and no delivery option (plus other cons). Our Honda on Amazon came with delivery. Sure we somehow paid extra for this but avoiding injury sometimes takes precedence. We have a 300 foot steep driveway. The driver from Saia Trucking and I got the unit to the garage. A friend came by to assist with the assembly. The directions leave off a few important items. Getting the battery out to charge the unit before firing up was somewhat of a stickler. I found a 10mm nut just outside the battery compartment. After loosening the nut, I was able to move the metal clip holding the battery strap in place and then maneuver the battery out of its compartment for a proper bench charge with the Honda Optimate 3 charger. Once charged, the battery went in place relatively easy with the loosened clip. I tightened down the clip and made the battery connections. I added the Honda Power Equipment 10-30W oil [1 Qt was fine as opposed to the directions 1.2 which is likely for a dry fill..since the unit has to be tested beforehand there's likely some oil in the block) and used Ethanol Free 92 octane gas. Connected the unit via the Bluetooth app (download from Play Store), unit found and synched easily. I also pulled the cord a few times inside one of the side panels manual prior to pushing the ON button to help circulate the oil. Happy customer..the true test will be when we power up the house when our interlock switch gets installed.

Great house backup gen
I've operated this EU7000 unit with my half ton Goodman AC, fridge , microwave, a few essential security and indoor lights, even my small hot tub without a problem. Was running at about 4400 watts, the HVAC loads it down momentarily but the ECO system makes up the RPM almost instantly. It's Honda quiet and I'm happy about clean inverter power. NOTE: This unit is Bluetooth capable, the receiver may/may not be included with your particular unit..just FYI. Side note, my first Honda generator a 1600 watt unit that I bought in late 80's still works like a charm after almost 1000 hrs duty during power outages on the Tx Gulf Coast due to hurricane and brown outs. Nice work!

Powerful
This is top of the line. I run a 2500 sqft home with ease off this thing. Wired to my panel I tried to overload this machine by running everything but the dryer and oven and I simply couldnโt do it. This is the best money can buy without purchasing a standby generator. Also, this thing is super quiet and you wonโt hear it running unless you are near it.

Impressively quite
I haven't used it for the house yet, but I am impressed with the very low noise level. You can stand next to it and talk in a normal volume. I put a 3000W load on it and it had very little effect on the engine. Voltage is 125AC and Hz is a steady 60 with or without a load. I added a magnetic oil drain plug.
