Sunlite Economy Brake Pads, Retro Red, 1 Pair

Seems like a decent set - can't speak to their longevity quite yet but I can already tell they'll hold up better than the "grey matter" pads which wear very fast. The brick red color is nice.

But they did the job when I couldn't find similar pads for less when I needed them.

I got these for my old 74 schwinn le tour with 700c wheels. Works awesome compared to the other new black brake pads I had installed. Much better grip in the rain too. EDIT: I've put 2.3k miles on these and they still stop great! On a recent organized ride I did some steep 12-15% decents and felt safe stopping at the bottom from 45-50 mph.

i like these for kids bikes.like the softer material and salmon color instead of hard black ones.stopping is good.they need a larger washer.would like more cost effective packaging options, like five or ten pairs for a few dollars per pair, not $7 a pair.

These pads ended up on a pair of 600 Dia Compe centerpull brakes from the old days. They slam the bike to a stop and were very easy to install and adjust. Good product with great performance.

Bought it for my grandson. Replacement was very easy and perfectly fit. He is enjoying screaching. Let's see how long it lasts. I hope it will last for a good time.

Near duplicate to original equipment. Longevity is unknown at this time.

The old pads were hard due to age. the new ones being soft stop very good. The 6 molded in “shoes” make these very efficient.
