See my update at the bottom.Got a free sample from my holistic Dentist after minor surgery; now I'm hooked for an everyday toothbrush.Most soft toothbrushes on the USA market are too hard/harsh (even child toothbrushes). I'm not sure why USA manufactures insist on making them that way. You don't need, better yet you don't want a hard toothbrush for your teeth are not like a toilet where you need to scrub them. Your enamel is a living thing, your toilet is not. A hard toothbrush brushes away your enamel and also makes for recessed gums. I have to get my toothbrushes from Asian where they still know how to make a traditional toothbrush that is health promoting instead of health demoting. I prefer a wooden handle but am so happy with this extremely soft toothbrush that I overlook its shortcomings (plastic).UPDATE: 5 stars for super softness but 1 star for lastability. It became unusable after 2 weeks.
