Hard to find in stores, slightly “thicker” than other 0w-16 (which is super thin!)
Castro Edge makes a quality oil. I usually run Pennzoil Ultra Platinum, but my new vehicle requires the water thin 0w-16. My first car ever that required such a thin oil- I assume it’s for emission/fuel mileage purposes, but wow it’s very thin.I did some research since my typical brand wasn’t available in 0w-16. Research = reading a famous oil forum way too much. I learned that the Castrol Edge version of 0w-16 is SLIGHTLY thicker than other brands of 0w-16, while still being the proper weight/specs that I need. I said sure, let me throw this in there.Oil is oil, and as long as your change interval is good, your car will be happy. I have no issues with this oil so far. It may be slightly thicker but the car runs the same, makes the same noises. I feel good knowing I’m following manufacturer specs, and it’s a good brand.Only issue is it’s impossible to find locally at the big box auto stores. Have to order on Amazon. Decent price, but I imagine this will be available locally in the future as more new cars move to the super thin 0w-16.

As described, great price. Not available in my local stores. OEM for Kia 1.6L Niro engines.
Only place I could find a decent price on OEM Kia oil.

Castrol 0W-16
Always been a fan of Castrol and this is just another product that doesn’t disappoint. Meets all specs for warranty purposes. After a few changes with this the engine oil stays cleaner.

Premium oil
I've been using this oil for several years now with no problems. I used to use Mobil 1 but noticed alot of valve train noise with it. I switched to Castrol edge and engine is quiet and smooth verry happy with this oil.

Couldn't find this oil locally for this price

Top notch protection
I have used all the so called higher end synthetic oils and they work fine but just don't justify the extra cost,Castrol Edge works just as well easier to find and will protect your engine for the life of your car or truck, do yourself a huge favor and use this oil.
