Burns over 10 hours in a votive holder
I timed one of these. I have submitted a customer image for these candles that show what they look like in a votive holder, compared to a pen for size reference. In my customer photo, the candle has been burning for 10 hours, and it's still going strong. I expect I will easily get over 11 hours out of this single candle. If it wasn't in a votive holder, it wouldn't last 10 hours (in my opinion). These are very good quality candles - the wax burns almost completely so far. There is no soot, no smoke, and no smell. They leave behind no residue and virtually no wax at all in the votive holder after burning out. I am using the Eastland glass votive holders, a very good price at $11.99 for a dozen on Amazon. I bought these for emergency preparedness, as a very inexpensive option for having SOME light in our home. We tested a few, and to light a small area, like a table for playing cards or even reading, you need probably 4 of them going at the same time. The votive holders also help cast more light. Overall, I'm glad I bought them. I'm glad I tested them too, because now I know that I'll need to use several to get any useful light, as well as likely want to use a different light source in a emergency. For me, these are a good last option for light in an emergency situation inside the home. For more light, I'm considering a traditional kerosene lantern. ------- UPDATE ------- When the candle in the votive holder finally burned out, it had gone for 11 hours 48 minutes. Not bad at all. There is no noticeable wax in the bottom of the votive holder. Very efficient and clean candles. Will buy again.

10-Hour Votives
I have burned these for the past 3 days and have gotten at least 10 hours out of each votive. No smoke, clean burning. I love them so much I purchased the larger set of 144 before the spring/summer heat sets in. (they can melt while being shipped in hot weather) There is nothing like a candle burning in the evening to make you feel a sense of peace and comfort. I keep a few around the house, in case of power outage, with a box of small, wooden matches on top of the votive holder and candle. I burn these votives inside of a correct fitting votive holder (shown below). I then put the unlit candle and holder inside of a mason jar (pint-size). Then use a long, bbq instant lighter to light the wick. The jar helps with keeping the fans from causing too much air-flow to hit the flame (and causing the candle to not burn for 10 hours. Each of my candles have burned down to nothing but the round, metal wick-holder, nothing to clean out of the bottom of the glass after burning all the way down. TIPS: Use a votive holder! I bought this set: Clear Glass Votive Holders (1 Dz) You MUST use the correct size candle holder for these candles. Those holders are an exact fit for these candles. You will have a good 1-inch clearance from the top of the votive to the top of the glass holder. It also helps with draft(below). Do not burn in a drafty place! Any wind or air movement will make the candle burn faster. Your glass votive holders will get hot. Keep from touching the holder while candle is burning. You will get a layer of melted wax above the votive...this will be pure liquid wax! Be careful of spills. This is why it is important to use the correct size votive holder, if not, your wax will spread and leave a long wick that will burn in no-time. ***Timed burning: 11 hours 35 minutes according to my stop watch, for one candle in candle holder.

Votive Candles a Real Value
I don't usually write a review of products. But when Amazon invited me to do so for this product, I was glad to to do so. I use a lot of candles because I have some fairly nice decorative holders and I like them lit, especially at night when watching a movie or listening to music. But I got tired of paying between 80 cents and a dollar on votive candles at retail shops. That gets expensive and that in turn discourages me from using them any time I feel like it. So I did a search for candles on Amazon, found this product, and did a quick calculation on price. These candles, even factoring in the shipping, cost a little more than 40 cents a candle -- half price! So I ordered a box. But would they work as well as the store-bought ones? Absolutely. Better. They last for a long time, longer than most I've bought in stores. I've never timed these, but 10 hours is what they advertise and that is probably about right. Many candles I have bought in the past last half that long. Also, I am midway through box two of these -- around 100 candles -- and have yet to run into a dud -- you know, when the candle burns too fast on one side and it collapses before the wax is used up, or the wick burns up before the wax does. Not one of these has done that to me. They all burn evenly and last the duration. Which only adds to the price savings: you're not throwing away defective ones. And, because they burn all the way to the bottom, it is much easier to remove the remains of them from the holder as there is very little left at the bottom to discard. They are not scented. So if you want scent, maybe you can buy a small box of scented candles and use one of them while burning two or three of these alongside. These candles are not just a substantial value but are a superior product. I'm very happy I took a chance on them. And the more you use and enjoy them, the more you'll appreciate their advantages. One more plus: these get delivered very quickly after ordering.

packaging is bad-some were broken-lasts a long time, all in all satisfied.
I bought these for an outdoor wedding to put into vintage mason jars 1/3 full with sand... I decided to test a candle beforehand to see what it would do in a jar... It lasted plenty long but within an hour and a half, the candle had completely pooled int he bottom of the pint jar...it lasted a total of 6 hours...I'm guessing the pooling action in the bottom of the domed jar limited its potential. It was in a non drafty area...I don't know why it pooled. I am concerned these will muck up my vintage jars-making them a real pain to clean... so I have to plan ahead and make the sand a little moist so I can make an indent around the base of the candle so the pooling doesn't reach the glass. I am glad I checked out the candle first. The box arrived with 2 candles broken, another few with impact adhered wax from the broken candles that would not come off. There was one with no wick sticking out enough to be lit... so 5 candles down, I still had enough for my plans. Wish amazon had bubble wrapped the candles though, the box they come in is basically thick paper taped together that flexes and let out the loose wax particles from the broken candles. The wax has gotten everywhere-on the rest of my order, in the carpet, all over the other candles. All in all, these are superior to tea lights, they last a long time, they are a larger size, but they can pool easily.

Great candles: Long lasting, No odor
I love Richlands tea light candles. I really like that they are Unscented, clean burning, and long lasting. My husband and I, despite being married 52 years, still prefer to dine in our dining room with candles, so we use them at least 4-5 days a week (we dine in the kitchen without candles when babysitting our toddler grandson for obvious reasons). I cannot say they last 7 hours, but they will last through 3-4 dinners for us, which is longer than any other brand I’ve tried, hence, I won’t buy any others, now. I’ve been ordering these for many years, for the table, Halloween decor, Christmas decor, etc, and they hold up all evening when it counts. I recommend them, highly.

Simple candles that last long
Short review: cute looking, unscented candles that burn for about 9h or more So I actually bought these a long time ago but never bothered to leave a review. Now I'm running low on these candles so I looked them up again and was a bit surprised at some reviews here that say they only last 4-5h. I was curious because I've never actually timed them. I only light them up in the evening, leave them on for a few hours before turning them off for bed. Long story short, this morning I lit one at 9:30 AM, set a timer for 4h, then 1h repeatedly throughout the day. It was still burning at dinner around 7 PM. Regrettably I forgot to reset the timer after dinner and also forgot to check in on it so I don't know when it went out. But that's at least 9 and a half hours. So maybe there are some bad batches? Honestly I don't know but based on my result I'm ordering another box.

You get your money's worth
I originally opted for long-burning but another seller was out. I accepted "regular" tea lights in replacement. DON'T take less than these if you need them to last. I timed them - yes, I did. So far, these have burned ~8 hours (mostly longer). I am extremely pleased. Doing the math, these come to ~.25 for each candle. Given that they last nearly 3 times longer than the regular tea lights - which average ~.17-.20 each - that's like paying ~.50 for each candle (three regulars) instead of .25 for one (one 7-hour). Seems you will save much more money if you take this route. Even if you blow them out, they reform quickly enough and you can relight. They are about half-again as tall as normal tea lights. Just in case you want them to fit under something specific. Same diameter. The regular tea lights had a smell to them that was not pleasant. These, I barely notice. I am an HSP, so any sensitives out there can take note that tho' they do smell lightly of wax, the scent is not overwhelming. They burn steadily with little flicker. If you have issues with strobes as I do, candles that flicker too much might give a strobe-like effect. These have very little of that (provided they're out of a breeze). All in all - if you're looking for tea lights - BUY THESE and save yourself some time and money.

We didn't need 7 hrs ... they worked for us
These burn for a long time. I used these in a ceremony I take part in most years. I didn't need a 7 hour burn but ordinary tea lights seemed to be almost sputtering out by the end of the formalities, making us a little nervous as to whether we'd finish before the candles did. I thought I'd try some extra long burning tea lights this year. Based on reviews, I went with these Richland tea lights. I cannot testify to the 7 hour burn but the 21/2 hours we used these candles made barely an indentation in the wax. Since we only need 14 at a time, I think we'll have enough candles in the one box for a number of years to come! We need to use tea lights twice over 2 ceremonies, on 2 separate nights. Given their performance this year, the same tea lights can be used both nights without fear that they will burn out. Additionally, they do not smoke, they are not perfumed and they can be pinched out easily. For my purposes, these candles were a huge success.

Ottime candele
Arrivate nei tempi previsti. Ottimo imballaggio. Lasciano poco residuo e durano circa 3 ore. Le dimensioni sono piccole, ma le ho prese proprio perché a me servivano così. Sono soddisfatta dell’acquisto. Sicuramente consigliate.

White votive candles that burn well.
Great little candles, nicely made, unscented, great white colour and I tried out 2 of them last night and they burn down slowly and do not smoke. These fit in nicely to votive candle glass. They arrived in a cardboard box (well padded). Very good item and very good value for money too.
